On the Osmolator, a green light typically indicates the water level is correct. A yellow/orange light indicates the pump is running (dosing). A red light usually signifies the safety sensor has been triggered (water too high) or there is a system error.
To maintain performance, disassemble the pump housing and remove the drive unit. Soak the components in a mild vinegar and water solution to dissolve calcium deposits, then brush clean and rinse thoroughly before reassembly.
Comline DOC Skimmers should be placed in an area with a constant water level, typically in the sump or a corner of the aquarium. Ensure the immersion depth matches the specifications in your manual (usually between 10-24 cm depending on the model).
