The 509 Altitude 2.0 Helmet features a lightweight design, performance-infused style, and is designed for GoPro® mounting capability. This helmet is available in two outer shell options: Fiberglass Composite or Carbon Fiber construction. The hand lay-up fiberglass composite option delivers a stronger, lighter weight and better fitting helmet while our Carbon Fiber option delivers an extremely lightweight helmet with a ton of mobility. The one-piece eye port creates a draft-free seal with 509 Goggles (sold separately) and the magnetic Fidlock® chin strap closure allows for easy one-handed operation—even with gloves on. Adjustable upper vents feature an on/off shutter closure for airflow control while the integrated Pro Series Breath Box provides excellent ventilation, complete protection and is removable for optimal air flow. Available in sizes XS to 4X in two shells for optimal fit and minimal weight. Weight: Fiberglass Composite Helmet as low as 1,200 grams and Carbon Fiber Helmet as low as 1,150 grams.
