To properly match a headset, you must verify if your headtube uses Press Fit cups, measure both the upper and lower diameters of your headtube, and identify whether your fork's steerer tube is straight (1 1/8th) or tapered.
An EC (External Cup) headset sits on the exterior of the headtube and adds a taller stack height. A ZS (Zero Stack) cup houses the bearings entirely inside the headtube, creating a smaller or zero stack height.
