Download the designated app (e.g., TTLock or Tuya Smart), turn on your phone's Bluetooth, enter pairing mode on the lock by pressing the designated key (often #), and follow the in-app prompts to add the device.
Most smart locks include an emergency power supply terminal (such as a USB port) to temporarily power the lock with a power bank. You can also use the backup mechanical keys included in the package for emergency manual unlocking.
Once your lock is paired, you can manage users directly in the companion app. Under the lock settings, navigate to the 'Generate Passcode' or 'Add User' section to create and authorize new passcodes, RFID cards, or fingerprints.
Disconnect the lock's power momentarily, reconnect it, and hold the reset or privacy button (often found under the back panel knob) until prompted. Afterwards, input the default initialization code (like 000#) on the keypad if instructed.
