Pokyny pro nastavení

1. Připojení periferií

Before powering on, connect your display, keyboard, and mouse to the Mini PC.

• Připojení displeje: Connect your monitor(s) using the HDMI 2.1 port, DisplayPort 2.0, or one of the two USB4 (Type-C) ports. The M7 Ultra supports up to four screens simultaneously, with 8K@60Hz resolution via HDMI and DisplayPort, and 4K@144Hz via Type-C DisplayPort.
• Klávesnice a myš: Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the available USB ports (USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen2, or USB4).
• Internetové připojení: For a wired connection, connect an Ethernet cable to one of the two 2.5G LAN ports. For wireless, ensure your WiFi network is available.
• Připojení napájení: Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port (19V 6.32A) on the Mini PC, then plug it into a power outlet.

2. První spuštění

Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The system will boot into the pre-installed operating system (OS Pro). Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup, such as language selection, network configuration, and user account creation.

Režimy výkonu

The M7 Ultra features an updated UEFI (BIOS) with three selectable performance modes to optimize power consumption and performance:

• Quiet Mode (35W): Ideal for light tasks and silent operation. Fan noise is reduced to approximately 35dB.
• Balance Mode (50W): A balanced setting for everyday computing, offering a good mix of performance and thermal management.
• Performance Mode (65W-70W): Maximizes CPU and GPU performance for demanding applications and gaming.

These modes can be configured within the UEFI (BIOS) settings. Refer to the UEFI section of this manual for access instructions.

Konfigurace displeje

The Mini PC supports up to four independent displays simultaneously. Connect your displays to the available ports:

• 1x HDMI 2.1 (up to 8K@60Hz)
• 1x DisplayPort 2.0 (up to 8K@60Hz)
• 2x USB4 (Type-C) (up to 4K@144Hz each)

Once connected, configure your display settings within the operating system to extend or duplicate your desktop.

Síťové a bezdrátové připojení

• Kabelová LAN: Utilize the dual Intel i226V 2.5Gbps LAN ports for high-speed wired network connections. These ports support advanced applications like firewalls and soft routing.
• Wi-Fi 6: Connect to wireless networks using the integrated Wi-Fi 6 module for fast and stable internet access.
• Bluetooth 5.2: Pair wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, headphones, and speakers via Bluetooth 5.2.

Using the Oculink Port

The Oculink port provides a high-bandwidth PCIe x4 connection, ideal for external GPU (eGPU) setups. This offers superior performance and lower latency compared to Thunderbolt for graphics-intensive tasks.

Důležité: Oculink does not support hot-plugging. Always power off the Mini PC before connecting or disconnecting any Oculink devices to prevent damage.

Údržba a upgrady

Chladicí systém

The M7 Ultra features an upgraded Hyper Ice Chamber 2.0 cooling design with larger top and bottom fans and a copper base. This system ensures efficient heat dissipation and maintains low noise levels, especially in Quiet mode (around 35dB).

To maintain optimal cooling performance, ensure that the air vents are not obstructed. Periodically clean dust from the vents using compressed air.

RAM and SSD Upgrades

The M7 Ultra is designed for easy upgrades of RAM and SSD storage. It supports:

• BERAN: Two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots, supporting up to 64GB DDR5 4800MHz RAM (2x32GB).
• SSD: Two M.2 2280 PCIe slots, supporting up to 2x 8TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs (total 16TB).

To access the RAM and SSD slots, carefully disassemble the Mini PC according to the instructions provided in the full service manual (if available) or by consulting GMKtec support. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged before performing any internal upgrades.

Odstraňování problémů

If you encounter issues with your GMKtec M7 Ultra Mini PC, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Bez napájení:

• System Slowdown or Freezing:
  • Check for excessive background processes or applications.
  • Ensure the Mini PC has adequate ventilation and is not overheating.
  • Run a system diagnostic or antivirus scan.
  • Consider updating drivers or the operating system.
