3.2. Instalace baterie
- Open the battery cover located at the bottom of the thermometer.

3.3. Operating Instructions (ET003)
3.3.1. Forehead Measurement

3.3.2. Ear Measurement
- Remove the probe cover to expose the ear probe.
- Press the 'START' button to turn on the thermometer.
- Gently insert the probe into the ear canal. For children under 1 year, gently pull the ear straight back. For children over 1 year and adults, gently pull the ear up and back.
- Press the 'START' button again. The reading will appear on the display within 1 second.

3.3.3. Temperature Unit Switching (℃/℉)
With the device turned off, press and hold the 'MOD' button for approximately 3 seconds. The display will show the current unit, then switch to the other unit. Release the button to select the desired unit.

4.3.2. Object/Room Temperature Measurement
- Press the 'MODE' button to switch to 'Object' or 'Room' mode.
