Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Bezpečnostní pokyny

VAROVÁNÍ: Abyste snížili riziko požáru, úrazu elektrickým proudem nebo zranění, vždy dodržujte tato základní bezpečnostní opatření:

4. Nastavení

1. Rozbalit: Opatrně vyjměte všechny součásti z obalu.
2. Čistý: Before first use, wash the urn body, lid, percolating stem, and filter basket with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Assemble Percolating System: Insert the percolating stem into the center of the urn. Place the filter basket onto the percolating stem.
4. Umístění: Place the urn on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from edges and flammable materials. Ensure the power cord can reach an outlet without being stretched.

5.1 Vaření kávy

1. Naplňte vodu: Pour cold, fresh water into the urn. Use the internal coffee level markings to measure the desired amount (minimum 35 cups). Do not overfill.
2. Přidejte kávovou sedlinu: Add your desired amount of medium to fine ground coffee directly into the filter basket. No paper filter is needed.
3. Bezpečné víko: Place the lid on the urn and twist to lock it securely in place.
4. Zapnutí: Plug the power cord into a 110-120V electrical outlet. Flip the On/Off switch to the "On" position. The red "Heating" indicator light will illuminate.
5. Pivovarnictví: The coffee will begin to percolate. Brewing a full 4.5L (30-40 cups) typically takes 30-40 minutes.

5.2 Dispensing Coffee/Hot Water

To dispense, place a cup under the spigot. The spigot features a pressure-activated backstop for single servings. For continuous pouring, lift the spigot lever upwards.

6. Čištění a údržba

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your coffee maker.

1. Odpojte a nechte vychladnout: Před čištěním spotřebič vždy odpojte a nechte jej zcela vychladnout.
2. Odebrat komponenty: Remove the lid, filter basket, and percolating stem. Dispose of used coffee grounds.
3. Umýt: Wash the urn interior, lid, percolating stem, and filter basket with warm, soapy water. A soft brush may be used for the filter basket to remove any residue.
4. Opláchněte: Všechny díly důkladně opláchněte čistou vodou.
5. Schnout: Před opětovnou montáží nebo uložením všechny součásti zcela vysušte.
6. Vnější: Wipe the exterior of the urn with a damp hadříkem. Nepoužívejte abrazivní čisticí prostředky ani neponořujte základnu do vody.
7. Odvápnění: Periodically descale the urn to remove mineral deposits, especially in hard water areas. Follow manufacturer's instructions for descaling solutions or use a vinegar solution.

7. Řešení problémů

• Spotřebič se nezapne: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional 110-120V outlet and the On/Off switch is in the "On" position.
• Coffee is too weak/strong: Adjust the amount of coffee grounds used according to your preference. Ensure the coffee grind size is appropriate (medium to fine).
• Pomalé vaření: Check for mineral buildup (scale) inside the urn. Descaling may be required. Ensure the percolating stem is properly seated.
