1. Úvod

This manual provides instructions for the installation and operation of your BN-LINK CP-UWLD28 Dimmer Light Switch. This dimmer switch is designed for single-pole applications and requires a neutral wire for proper functionality. It supports dimmable LED, CFL, and incandescent light bulbs, offering two distinct dimming modes and a memory function to recall your last brightness setting.

4. Instalace

Důležité: Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or a person with knowledge of electrical wiring. Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.

  1. Vypnout napájení: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light switch you intend to replace and turn off the power. Verify the power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Demontáž starého spínače: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and unscrew the old switch from the electrical box. Disconnect the wires from the old switch.
  3. Identifikace vodičů: V elektrické krabici určete následující vodiče:
    • Síťový vodič: Vede napájení z jističe.
    • Zaváděcí drát: Připojuje se k osvětlovacímu tělesu.
    • Neutrální vodič: Typically white, required for this dimmer switch.
    • Zemnící vodič: Bare copper or green.
  4. Wire the Dimmer Switch: Connect the wires from the dimmer switch to the corresponding wires in the electrical box using the provided wire nuts. Refer to the wiring diagram below.

  5. Namontujte spínač: Carefully push the wired dimmer switch into the electrical box. Secure it with the provided screws.
  6. Instalace nástěnné desky: Attach the new wall plate over the dimmer switch.
  7. Obnovit napájení: Znovu zapněte napájení na jističi.

Note: This dimmer switch works in single-pole only and requires a neutral wire. It is not a smart dimmer switch and cannot be connected to Wi-Fi.

5. Provoz

The BN-LINK Dimmer Light Switch features intuitive controls for adjusting light brightness and an indicator light for visibility in the dark.

První použití

During the first use, press the power button on the dimmer switch. The initial brightness of the light is set at 100%. Use the "+" and "-" buttons for fast adjustments and fine adjustment.

  • Vypínač: Press to turn the lighting On/Off.
  • Dimmer "+" Button:
    - Fast Adjustment: Press briefly to increase brightness by 10% each time.
    - Jemné nastavení: Press and hold to gradually increase brightness by 1% each time.
  • Dimmer "-" Button:
    - Fast Adjustment: Press briefly to decrease brightness by 10% each time.
    - Jemné nastavení: Press and hold to gradually decrease brightness by 1% each time.
  • Kontrolky: Display the current brightness level (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%).

Funkce paměti

The dimmer switch remembers the last brightness level used and restores it automatically the next time the light is turned on.
