Your child's safety is paramount. This car seat is certified to the newest side impact protection standards (FMVSS 213a & 213b) to absorb and disperse forces during a crash.

3. Nastavení a instalace

The Joie Mint Latch offers two primary installation methods: using the built-in rigid lower anchor attachments (LATCH) or using the vehicle's seat belt.

3.1. Installation with Rigid Lower Anchor Attachments (LATCH)

This method provides a quick and secure installation without the need for a separate base.

1. Locate the lower anchor points in your vehicle's back seat. These are typically marked with a symbol or label.
2. Extend the rigid lower anchor attachments from the car seat. There are 3 level options for adjustment; select the appropriate level for your vehicle's seat.
3. Align the rigid connectors with your vehicle's lower anchor points.
4. Push the car seat firmly towards the vehicle seat back until the connectors click securely onto the anchor points. Listen for an audible click to confirm engagement.
5. Test the installation by pulling on the car seat at the belt path. It should not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back.

3.2. Installation with Vehicle Seat Belt

This method is suitable for vehicles without lower anchor points or for use on airplanes.
