3. Nastavení a instalace

This section guides you through the installation process of the ASUS ProArt LC 420 cooler. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before beginning.

3.1 Kompatibilita

The ProArt LC 420 is compatible with a wide range of CPU sockets:

• Intel: LGA 1700, 1200, 115x
• AMD: AM5, AM4

3.2 Preparing the Radiator and Fans

1. Attach the three Noctua NF-A14 fans to the radiator using the provided screws. Ensure the fan orientation is correct for your desired airflow (e.g., intake or exhaust).
2. Connect the fan cables to the included fan cable for connection, which will then connect to your motherboard's CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header.

3.3 Installing the CPU Mounting Bracket

1. Identify the correct backplate and standoffs for your CPU socket from the accessory pack.
2. Install the backplate behind your motherboard and secure the standoffs through the motherboard's mounting holes.

Apply a small amount of thermal paste (not included) to the center of your CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS). A pea-sized dot is usually sufficient. The pressure from the cold plate will spread it evenly.

3.5 Mounting the Pump/Cold Plate

1. Carefully remove any protective film from the copper cold plate of the pump.
2. Align the pump/cold plate assembly with the standoffs on your motherboard and gently place it onto the CPU.
3. Secure the pump with the appropriate thumb screws or nuts, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.

3.6 Montáž chladiče

Mount the radiator assembly to an available 420mm mounting location in your PC chassis (e.g., top, front, or side). Use the long screws provided to secure the radiator through the chassis and into the fan frames.

3.7 Propojovací kabely

1. Connect the pump's 3-pin or 4-pin power cable to the motherboard's dedicated AIO_PUMP or CPU_FAN header.
2. Connect the fan cable (from step 3.2) to an available fan header on your motherboard.
3. Connect the illuminated meter's cable to an available USB 2.0 header on your motherboard for system status display.

4. Operating the Cooler

Once installed, the ASUS ProArt LC 420 operates automatically, adjusting fan and pump speeds based on CPU temperature. The illuminated meter provides real-time feedback on your system's status.

The integrated illuminated meter on the pump displays critical system information, including:
