4. Nastavení

4.1 Vybalení

4.2 Počáteční čištění

Before first use, clean all removable parts (glass jug, permanent filter, filter basket) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp tkanina.

4.3 První použití (čisticí cyklus)

To ensure optimal performance and remove any manufacturing residues, perform a cleaning cycle without coffee:

1. Fill the water tank with cold water up to the '10 cups' mark.
2. Place the empty filter basket (with or without the permanent filter) into its holder.
3. Place the empty glass jug on the hot plate.

6. Allow the full cycle of water to run through the machine.
7. Discard the water from the jug.

5. Návod k obsluze

5.1 Vaření kávy

1. Naplňte nádrž na vodu: Open the lid and fill the water tank with fresh, cold water to the desired number of cups, using the water level indicator on the side. Do not exceed the 'MAX 10 cups' mark.
2. Vložit filtr: Place the permanent filter (or a paper filter, size 1x4) into the filter basket.
3. Přidejte kávovou sedlinu: Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup, but adjust to your taste.

6. Začněte vařit: Plug the coffee maker into a 220V power outlet. Press the On/Off button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.
7. Drip Stop Function: The drip stop allows you to temporarily remove the jug during the brewing process to pour a cup of coffee. Ensure the jug is returned to its position within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.

• Vnější: Otřete vnější část kávovaru měkkým, damp hadříkem. Nepoužívejte abrazivní čisticí prostředky ani drátěnky. Nikdy neponořujte hlavní jednotku do vody ani jiné kapaliny.

6.2 Odvápnění

Mineral deposits from water can build up over time and affect the performance of your coffee maker. Descale the appliance regularly, depending on the hardness of your water and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 months).

5. After about half of the solution has run through, switch off the appliance and let it stand for approximately 15-20 minutes to allow the solution to work.
6. Switch the appliance back on and let the remaining solution run through.
7. After descaling, run 2-3 full cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
