3.2. Elektroinstalace a připojení
Proper wiring is crucial for the KVM-A8 to function correctly. Refer to the diagram below for detailed connections:
- ATX Control Cable: Connect the provided ATX control cable from the X630-A8 to your computer's motherboard system panel header. Pay attention to polarity.
- USB-A to USB-C OTG Cable: Connect the USB-C end to the OTG port on the KVM-A8 and the USB-A end to a USB-A port on your computer for keyboard and mouse emulation.
- Kabel HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI IN port on the KVM-A8 to the HDMI output of your computer.
- Ethernetový kabel: Connect an Ethernet cable to the Raspberry Pi 4's Ethernet port for network access.

3.3. Powering the KVM-A8
The KVM-A8 can be powered via two methods:
- Napájení PoE: Recommended method, requires an 802.3af-compliant PoE switch.
- Napájení USB-C: If PoE is not available, power the unit via the USB-C port of the X630-A8. Power input: 5.1Vdc +/-5%, ≥3A. A Geekworm Type-C 5V 4A power adapter is recommended.
Důležité: Do NOT power via the Raspberry Pi 4's USB-C port, as it is occupied as a USB OTG port for KVM functionality.
