Nastavení

1. Rozbalení a počáteční umístění

Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Ensure all protective tapes and packing materials are removed from the exterior and interior of the device. Place the printer on a stable, flat surface with adequate space for paper loading and output.

2. Ink Filling

The DCP-T525W uses a refillable ink tank system. Locate the ink tank compartment on the front right side of the printer. Open the cover and carefully fill each tank with the corresponding color ink bottle (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow). Ensure the ink bottles are securely sealed after filling.

Connect the power cable to the printer and then to a power outlet. Turn on the printer. Follow the on-screen prompts on the printer's LCD display for initial setup, including language selection and print head alignment.

4. Instalace softwaru a připojení

Insert the provided installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive and follow the instructions. Alternatively, download the latest drivers and software from the official Brother support website. The printer supports both USB and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Adjust print settings such as paper size, print quality, and color/monochrome output. The printer offers print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome and 12 ppm for color.

3. Manual Duplex Printing

The DCP-T525W supports manual duplex printing. To print on both sides of a page:

2. Nejprve vytiskněte liché stránky.
3. When prompted, reload the printed pages into the paper tray according to the instructions displayed on your computer or printer LCD.
4. Vytiskněte sudé stránky.

4. Skenování dokumentů

Place the document face down on the scanner glass. Use the Brother iPrint&Scan application or your computer's scanning utility to initiate a scan. You can choose scan resolution up to 1200 x 600 dpi (optical) or 19200 x 19200 dpi (interpolated).

5. Kopírování dokumentů

Place the document on the scanner glass. Use the control panel on the printer to select the copy function. You can adjust settings such as number of copies, color/monochrome, and quality before pressing the Start button.

6. Mobilní tisk

Download the Brother iPrint&Scan app on your smartphone or tablet. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer. The app allows you to print documents and photos directly from your device.

Údržba

1. Ink Refill

Monitor ink levels regularly. When an ink tank is low, refill it using genuine Brother ink bottles (BTD60BK for Black, BT5000C/M/Y for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow). The black ink bottle yields approximately 7500 pages, and color ink bottles yield approximately 5000 pages each.

Regularly clean the exterior of the printer with a soft, lint-free cloth. For print quality issues, perform print head cleaning and alignment from the printer's maintenance menu or through the printer driver software on your computer.
