5. Instalace

5.1 Výběr místa instalace

Proper placement is crucial for effective detection. Install the detector in every sleeping area and on every level of your home. For optimal performance, avoid 'dead air space' where smoke and CO may not reach the detector quickly.

• On a ceiling, position the detector at least 4 inches (10 cm) from any wall.
• On a wall, position the detector between 4 and 12 inches (10-30 cm) from the ceiling.
• Avoid placing near windows, doors, or areas with high airflow that could interfere with sensor readings.
• Do not install in kitchens, bathrooms, or garages where cooking fumes, steam, or vehicle exhaust could cause false alarms.

5.2 Instalace baterie

1. Otočte montážní držák proti směru hodinových ručiček, abyste jej oddělili od detektoru.

3. Insert the provided CR123A lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. The detector will emit a short beep and the LED will flash, indicating it has powered on.

5.3 Montáž detektoru

1. After selecting an appropriate location, hold the mounting bracket against the ceiling or wall.
2. Mark the positions for the two screw holes.
3. Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the wall plugs (if necessary).

5. Align the detector with the mounting bracket and twist clockwise until it locks securely into place.

6. App Setup & Wi-Fi Connection

6.1 Stažení aplikace

• Download the 'TuyaSmart' or 'Smart Life' app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

6.2 Připojení k Wi-Fi

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The detector does not support 5 GHz networks.
2. Open the TuyaSmart or Smart Life app.

4. Select 'Security & Video Surveillance' then 'Smoke Detector (Wi-Fi)' or 'CO Detector (Wi-Fi)'.

LCD displej 7.2

The LCD display shows the current carbon monoxide concentration in parts per million (PPM). In normal conditions, it may show '0 PPM' or a low background reading. During a CO alarm, it will display the detected CO level.

7.3 Testování alarmu

It is recommended to test the alarm weekly to ensure it is functioning correctly.

1. Press and hold the 'TEST' button on the detector for a few seconds.
2. The alarm will sound, and the red LED will flash. This indicates the alarm is working.
3. The app will also receive a test notification.

7.4 App Control and Alerts

8. Údržba

8.1 Výměna baterie

When the yellow LED flashes every 40 seconds and the app indicates a low battery, it is time to replace the CR123A lithium battery.

1. Otočte detektor proti směru hodinových ručiček, abyste jej vyjmuli z montážního držáku.
2. Otevřete přihrádku na baterie.
3. Vyjměte starou baterii a zlikvidujte ji v souladu s místními předpisy.
4. Insert a new CR123A lithium battery, observing correct polarity.
5. Reattach the detector to the mounting bracket by twisting clockwise until it locks.

8.2 Čištění detektoru

Clean the alarm cover and vents once a month to remove dust and dirt that could interfere with sensor operation.

• Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to gently clean the exterior of the detector.
