3. Nastavení a instalace
The X-Sense XP04 detector is designed for easy installation. All necessary mounting hardware is included.
Kroky instalace:
- Připravte si místo pro montáž: Ensure the power is off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation. Select a location in accordance with local codes and the provided guidelines.
- Namontujte montážní držák: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall using the provided screws and anchor plugs.
- Připojení kabeláže: Connect the AC hardwired cables (black, white, red) to your household wiring. The red wire is for interconnection with other compatible alarms.

This detector supports interconnection with up to 18 X-Sense 2-in-1 hardwired alarms. When one interconnected alarm is triggered, all connected alarms will sound simultaneously, providing early warning throughout your home.

Stav LED indikátoru:
- Zelená LED: Indicates normal operation and AC power.
- Žlutá LED: Indicates a fault or low battery condition.

Testování alarmu:
Press and hold the 'Test/Silence' button located on the center of the detector. The alarm will sound, and the LED indicator will flash. Release the button to stop the test. Test the alarm weekly.
Ztišení alarmu:
In case of a non-emergency alarm (e.g., cooking fumes), press the 'Test/Silence' button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will automatically reset after a few minutes if the air clears. If the hazard persists, the alarm will reactivate.
5. Údržba
Výměna baterie:
The 9V backup battery should be replaced annually. When the battery is low, the detector will chirp and the yellow LED will flash. To replace the battery:
- Otočte detektor proti směru hodinových ručiček, abyste jej vyjmuli z montážního držáku.
- Otevřete přihrádku na baterie.
- Vyjměte starou 9V baterii a vložte novou, dbejte na správnou polaritu.
- Close the battery compartment and reattach the detector to the mounting bracket by twisting clockwise.

Čištění:
Clean your detector at least once a month to remove dust and debris. Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to clean the vents and cover. Do not use water, cleaners, or solvents.
