1. Rozbalení zařízení

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The kit includes:

• PANACARE Blood Pressure Monitor (Model BSX516)
• Extended Blood Pressure Cuff

2. Napájení zařízení

The blood pressure monitor can be powered by two methods:

• 4 AA baterie: Insert four AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the device. Ensure correct polarity.

3. Nasazení manžety

Proper cuff application is crucial for accurate measurements. The adjustable cuff is designed for arm circumferences between 8.7 and 16.5 inches.

1. Open the Cuff: Open the cuff and pass one end through the iron ring. Ensure the Velcro faces outward.
2. Position the Cuff: Wrap the cuff around your bare left upper arm. The air tube should run down the center of your arm, aligned with your middle finger. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (about 1 inch) above your elbow joint.
3. Secure the Cuff: Tighten the cuff snugly but not too tightly. You should be able to insert one or two fingers between the cuff and your arm.
4. Poloha paže: Rest your arm comfortably on a table or flat surface with your palm facing upwards. Ensure the cuff is at the same level as your heart.

1. Měření

Before measuring, sit quietly for a few minutes. Avoid talking, moving, or eating during the measurement process.

1. Vyberte uživatele: If using the 2-user memory mode, press the MEM button to switch between User 1 and User 2.
2. Spustit měření: Stiskněte tlačítko START/STOP button. The cuff will automatically inflate, and the measurement will begin.
3. View Výsledky: Once the measurement is complete, the systolic pressure (SYS), diastolic pressure (DIA), and pulse rate (PUL) will be displayed on the large LCD screen. The device will automatically turn off after 30 seconds.

2. Understanding the Tri-Color Backlight

The monitor features a tri-color backlit display to visually indicate your blood pressure category according to WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines:

• Zelený: Blood pressure below 140 mmHg (Normal range).
• Žlutá: Blood pressure between 140-180 mmHg (Mild to Moderate Hypertension).
• Červený: Blood pressure above 180 mmHg (Severe Hypertension).

3. Voice Reading Function

The device includes an audio reading function, which is particularly useful for the elderly or visually impaired users. You can control this feature using the SOUBOR tlačítko.
