5. Instalační příručka

Follow these steps carefully to install your GAMDIAS Boreas E1-410 CPU Air Cooler. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before beginning.

5.1. Příprava

1. Ensure your CPU is correctly installed in its socket on the motherboard.
2. Clean the CPU surface of any old thermal paste using isopropyl alcohol.
3. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).

5.2. Montáž montážního držáku

Refer to the included universal mounting kit for specific instructions for your Intel or AMD motherboard socket. Typically, this involves:

1. Attaching the appropriate backplate to the rear of the motherboard.

The 120mm fan is typically pre-attached. If not, or if you need to re-attach it:

1. Ensure the fan is oriented to blow air towards the rear of your PC case for optimal airflow.

1. Connect the 4-pin PWM fan cable from the cooler to the 'CPU_FAN' header on your motherboard.
2. Connect the 3-pin 5V ARGB cable from the cooler to an available '5V ADD_HEADER' or 'ARGB_HEADER' on your motherboard. Nepřipojujte k 12V RGB konektoru, mohlo by dojít k poškození LED diod.
