5. Instalační příručka
Follow these steps carefully to install your GAMDIAS Boreas E1-410 CPU Air Cooler. Ensure your system is powered off and unplugged before beginning.
5.1. Příprava
- Ensure your CPU is correctly installed in its socket on the motherboard.
- Clean the CPU surface of any old thermal paste using isopropyl alcohol.
- Apply a small, pea-sized amount of thermal paste to the center of the CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
5.2. Montáž montážního držáku
Refer to the included universal mounting kit for specific instructions for your Intel or AMD motherboard socket. Typically, this involves:
- Attaching the appropriate backplate to the rear of the motherboard.
- Securing the standoffs or mounting posts to the front of the motherboard around the CPU socket.
5.3. Heatsink Mounting
- Carefully place the heatsink onto the CPU, aligning the mounting holes on the heatsink base with the standoffs/mounting posts.
- Using the provided screws, secure the heatsink to the mounting hardware. Tighten screws in a diagonal pattern (e.g., top-left, bottom-right, top-right, bottom-left) until snug. Do not overtighten.
5.4. Fan Attachment
The 120mm fan is typically pre-attached. If not, or if you need to re-attach it:
- Ensure the fan is oriented to blow air towards the rear of your PC case for optimal airflow.
- Use the provided fan clips to secure the fan to the heatsink fins.
5.5. Připojení kabelů
- Connect the 4-pin PWM fan cable from the cooler to the 'CPU_FAN' header on your motherboard.
- Connect the 3-pin 5V ARGB cable from the cooler to an available '5V ADD_HEADER' or 'ARGB_HEADER' on your motherboard. Nepřipojujte k 12V RGB konektoru, mohlo by dojít k poškození LED diod.

8. Řešení problémů
- Ventilátor se netočí: Check if the 4-pin PWM fan cable is securely connected to the 'CPU_FAN' header on the motherboard. Verify fan settings in BIOS/UEFI.
- Bez ARGB osvětlení: Ensure the 3-pin 5V ARGB cable is correctly connected to a 5V ARGB header (not 12V RGB). Check your motherboard's ARGB software for lighting control.
- Vysoké teploty procesoru: Confirm that the heatsink is securely mounted and making proper contact with the CPU. Ensure thermal paste was applied correctly. Verify fan orientation for proper airflow (blowing towards the rear/top of the case). Check fan speed settings in BIOS/UEFI.
