4.1 Instalace baterie
The AP-985B requires one 9V (6F22) battery for operation. Follow these steps to install or replace the battery:
- Locate the screw holes on the handle of the thermometer.
- Loosen the screw and pull down the battery door.

5. Provoz
5.1 Základní měření
To measure temperature, aim the thermometer at the target surface and press the trigger. The dual laser pointers will indicate the measurement area. The temperature reading will appear on the LCD screen almost instantly (response time <250 ms).

Use the “MODE” button to enter emissivity adjustment mode, then use the “℉/UP” and “℃/DN” buttons to change the value.
5.4 MAX/MIN/AVG Modes
While taking measurements, press the “MODE” button repeatedly to cycle through MAX (maximum), MIN (minimum), and AVG (average) temperature readings recorded during the current measurement session.
5.5 Alarmy vysoké/nízké teploty
The AP-985B allows you to set high and low temperature alarm thresholds. If the measured temperature exceeds the high alarm setting or falls below the low alarm setting, the device will emit an audible beep and display “HI” or “ LOW” on the LCD screen.
