1. Place the car seat forward-facing in an appropriate vehicle seating position.
2. Locate your vehicle's lower LATCH anchors and attach the car seat's LATCH connectors. Ensure a tight connection.
3. Route the top tether strap over the vehicle seat and attach it to the vehicle's top tether anchor. Tighten the tether strap.
4. Press down firmly on the car seat while pulling the LATCH strap to remove all slack. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.

2. High-Back Booster Installation (40-120 lbs)

For children weighing 40-120 lbs, the car seat converts to a high-back booster, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt to secure both the child and the booster seat.

1. Remove the 5-point harness system according to the instructions in the "Maintenance" section.
2. Place the booster seat forward-facing in an appropriate vehicle seating position.
