Please read this manual thoroughly before beginning installation to ensure proper fitment and safe operation.
2. Bezpečnostní informace

5. Nastavení a instalace
Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. Refer to your motorcycle's service manual for specific torque values for engine mount bolts if available.
- Příprava motocyklu:
- Park the motorcycle on a level, stable surface.
- Secure the motorcycle using a paddock stand or center stand to ensure it is upright and stable.
- Allow the engine to cool down completely before starting work.
- Určete montážní body:
- Locate the engine mount bolts on both sides of the motorcycle's frame. These are typically the points where the frame sliders will attach.
- For the Honda CBR650R, the EVOTECH sliders often utilize existing engine mount points, sometimes requiring the removal of fairing panels for access.
- Install Left Side Slider:
- Carefully remove the existing engine mount bolt on the left side of the motorcycle. It is crucial to only remove one bolt at a time to maintain engine alignment.
- Align the left EVOTECH mounting bracket with the engine mount point.
- Insert the new, longer bolt supplied with the EVOTECH kit through the mounting bracket and into the engine mount point.
- Hand-tighten the bolt initially.
- Attach the left slider bobbin to the mounting bracket using the provided hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Torque the main engine mount bolt to the motorcycle manufacturer's specified torque setting. If not available, consult a professional. Apply thread-locking compound if desired.

- Install Right Side Slider:
- Repeat the process for the right side of the motorcycle. Remove the existing engine mount bolt on the right side.
- Align the right EVOTECH mounting bracket.
- Insert the new, longer bolt through the bracket and into the engine mount point.
- Hand-tighten the bolt.
- Attach the right slider bobbin to the mounting bracket.
- Torque the main engine mount bolt to the motorcycle manufacturer's specified torque setting.

- Závěrečná kontrola:
- Dvakrát zkontrolujte všechny upevňovací prvky, abyste se ujistili, že jsou správně utažené.

- Reinstall any fairing panels removed during the process.

6. Princip fungování
EVOTECH Frame Crash Protection Sliders are designed to provide a sacrificial point of contact with the ground during a slide or low-speed fall. By extending beyond the motorcycle's fairings and engine, they lift the critical components off the ground, reducing the likelihood of direct impact and abrasion damage to the frame, engine cases, and expensive bodywork. The slider bobbins are typically made from a durable, abrasion-resistant material that can absorb impact and slide effectively, dissipating energy and protecting the motorcycle's structure.
7. Údržba
- Pravidelná kontrola: Periodically check the frame sliders and their mounting hardware for any signs of loosening, cracks, or damage. This should be done as part of your regular motorcycle inspection routine.
- Čištění: Clean the sliders with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals that may degrade the material.
- Post-Crash Inspection: If your motorcycle has been involved in a crash, even a minor one, thoroughly inspect the frame sliders and their mounting points. Even if the sliders appear intact, the underlying mounting brackets or frame may have sustained damage. It is highly recommended to replace any slider bobbins or mounting hardware that have made contact with the ground during a crash, as their structural integrity may be compromised.
