This manual provides instructions for the proper installation and maintenance of the Manitowoc K00374 Arctic Pure Replacement Ice Maker Filter Cartridge. This product is designed to reduce scale, chlorine taste, and odor in water supplied to Manitowoc AR-2800 Ice Makers, ensuring optimal ice quality and machine performance.

The K00374 filter features depth filtration with a scale inhibitor for maximum water filtration. It incorporates a valve-in-head design, allowing for tool-free insertion and twisting to lock or unlock. An auto-bypass feature ensures water flow continues even when the filter is removed.
Instalace a nastavení
Follow these steps to replace your ice maker's water filter cartridge. It is not necessary to turn off the incoming water supply as the system is equipped with an internal shut-off valve.
- Remove Used Cartridge: Turn the used cartridge slowly to the left, approximately 1/4 turn, until it stops. At this point, both inlet and outlet ports are closed, and water pressure has been relieved. Pull the used cartridge forward to remove it, then discard. Expect a small amount of residual water drainage during this process.
- Příprava nové kazety: Remove the protective cap from the top of the new cartridge.
- Instalace nové kazety: Push the new cartridge into the filter head. Turn the cartridge 1/4 turn to the right until it stops. The top surface of the cartridge will be flush with the bottom of the head when fully engaged.
- Propláchněte filtr: Run a 3-minute fill cycle of the ice machine to flush the new filter. After flushing, power off the unit and restart it to begin a new fill sequence and ice making cycle.
- Obnovit světlo filtru: Press and hold the “Clean” button on your ice machine for 6 seconds to reset the counter and de-energize the filter light.

Údržba
The durable water filter is designed to last approximately six months under normal operating conditions. The ice machine's filter replacement light will indicate when a changeover is needed.
To assist with tracking, use the included adhesive stickers (P/N RT174) to mark the date of installation and the person responsible for the change. This helps ensure timely replacement and consistent water quality.
