1. Úvod

This manual provides essential information for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your FireAngel CO-9B Carbon Monoxide Detector. 2.2 Instalace baterie

The FireAngel CO-9B requires two (2) AA batteries (not included). Follow these steps:

For optimal protection, install CO detectors in the following locations:

• On every level of your home, including the basement.
• Near or in every sleeping area.
• Near potential sources of CO, such as gas appliances, fireplaces, and attached garages.

Avoid these locations:

• Within 1 meter (3 feet) of cooking appliances, heating appliances, or open flames.
• In extremely dusty, dirty, or greasy areas.
• In direct sunlight or areas subject to extreme temperature changes.
• In areas with high humidity, such as bathrooms.

2.4 Montáž detektoru

Once you have chosen an appropriate location, mount the detector:

3.1 Power-On and Normal Operation

After battery installation, the detector will perform a self-test. The power indicator light (usually green) will flash periodically, indicating normal operation. If any issues are detected during the self-test, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

3.2 Testování alarmu

It is crucial to test your CO detector weekly to ensure it is functioning correctly.

1. Press and hold the 'TEST/RESET' button on the front of the detector for a few seconds.
2. The alarm will sound a loud, distinct pattern, and the alarm indicator light (usually red) will flash.
3. Release the button. The alarm will stop, and the detector will return to normal operation.
