3. Nastavení
3.1 Instalace baterie
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the collar unit.
- Insert the included 6-volt alkaline battery (RFA-18-11) with the positive (+) side facing up.

- Trim any excess strap length and use a lighter to carefully singe the end to prevent fraying.

4. Operating the Collar
The PetSafe Bark Control Collar is designed for dogs weighing 8 lb. or more and over 6 months old. It operates automatically to deter excessive barking.
4.1 Automatic Progressive Correction
- The collar starts at the lowest static correction level.
- If your dog barks again, the correction level will automatically increase to the next level.
- This progressive increase continues until your dog stops barking.
- The collar has 15 levels of static stimulation.
- A built-in safety feature will automatically shut off the collar for 3 minutes if your dog barks more than 15 times within an 80-second period. This prevents over-correction.
- As your dog learns to bark less, the correction levels will be reduced.
4.2 Bark Detection Technology
The collar uses both sound and vibration sensors to accurately detect your dog's bark. This dual-detection technology helps prevent false activations from other noises or other dogs barking nearby.
