The Nady WS-16U LT system includes the following main components:

  • WS-16U Wireless Receiver: The central unit that receives audio signals from the transmitter.
  • BT-16U Wireless Transmitter: A bodypack unit that sends audio signals.
  • LM-14 Lavalier Microphone: A small, clip-on microphone for discreet audio capture.
  • AC/DC Power Adapter for the receiver.

3. Pokyny k nastavení

3.1. Receiver Setup (WS-16U)

  1. Umístění: Position the receiver in a location free from obstructions and away from other electronic devices that may cause interference. Ensure the antennas are fully extended and positioned vertically for optimal signal reception.
  2. Připojení napájení: Connect the supplied AC/DC power adapter to the DC input jack on the rear of the receiver and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Zvukový výstup: Connect the receiver's audio output to your mixer, amplifier, or recording device. The receiver provides both 1/4" unbalanced and XLR balanced outputs.

3.2. Transmitter Setup (BT-16U)

  1. Instalace baterie: Open the battery compartment of the BT-16U bodypack transmitter. Insert a fresh 9V alkaline battery, observing the correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
  2. Připojení mikrofonu: Connect the LM-14 lavalier microphone to the input jack on the top of the BT-16U transmitter. Ensure the connection is secure.
  3. Umístění: Clip the lavalier microphone approximately 6-8 inches (15-20 cm) below the user's chin for optimal voice capture. Secure the bodypack transmitter to clothing or a belt.

3.3. Channel Selection and Synchronization

The WS-16U LT system features 16 user-selectable UHF channels to avoid interference. Refer to the channel selection guide (usually found inside the transmitter's battery compartment or on the receiver's underside) to set both the transmitter and receiver to the same channel. Ensure both units are set to identical channels for proper operation.

4. Návod k obsluze

  1. Zapnutí: After completing the setup, power on the receiver first, then the transmitter.

    • Speak into the lavalier microphone at a normal speaking volume.
    • Observe the AF (Audio Frequency) level indicators on the receiver. Adjust the volume control on your mixer/amplifier until the AF LEDs illuminate consistently without peaking into the red (indicating distortion).
  3. DigiTRU Diversity: The receiver utilizes DigiTRU Diversity technology, which automatically selects the stronger signal from its two antennas (A and B) to minimize dropouts and maximize operating range. The A/B LEDs on the receiver indicate which antenna is currently receiving the signal.
  4. Provozní rozsah: The typical operating range is 150-250 feet (45-75 meters), with a line-of-sight range of up to 500 feet (150 meters). Environmental factors and obstructions can affect this range.
  5. Mute (Squelch) Adjust: The receiver features a Mute (Squelch) adjust control. This control sets the threshold at which the receiver will output audio. Adjust it to a level that eliminates background noise or interference when the transmitter is off, but still allows the transmitter's signal to pass through clearly when it is on.
  6. Vypnout: When finished, power off the transmitter first, then the receiver. This prevents any loud pops or noises through your audio system.

5. Údržba

  • Čištění: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the receiver and transmitter. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Výměna baterie: Replace the 9V battery in the BT-16U transmitter regularly, especially before critical performances, to avoid unexpected power loss. Remove the battery if the transmitter will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Skladování: Systém skladujte na chladném a suchém místě mimo dosah přímého slunečního záření a extrémních teplot.
