Nastavení a instalace

Follow these steps carefully to install your GoControl Z-Wave Wall Switch.

1. Wiring the Switch

1. Turn OFF Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the switch you are replacing and turn it OFF. Verify power is off by attempting to turn on the light or appliance.
2. Demontáž starého spínače: Carefully remove the existing wall plate and switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires from the old switch, noting which wire was connected to which terminal (Line, Load, Neutral, Ground).
3. Identifikace vodičů:
   • Line (Hot): Usually black, coming from the circuit breaker.
   • Zatížení: Usually black, going to the light fixture or appliance.
   • Neutrální: Usually white, often bundled together in the back of the box. (Required for Z-Wave switches).
   • Země: Usually green or bare copper.
4. Připojení nového přepínače: Connect the wires to the GoControl WS15Z5-1 switch terminals as follows:
   • Připojte Čára wire to the terminal marked "LINE".
   • Připojte Zatížení wire to the terminal marked "LOAD".
   • Připojte Neutrální wire to the terminal marked "NEUTRAL".
   • Připojte Země wire to the terminal marked "GROUND".

   Ensure all connections are secure. If you are unsure about wiring, consult a qualified electrician.

5. Montážní spínač: Carefully push the wired switch into the wall box. Secure it with the provided screws.

2. Z-Wave Inclusion (Pairing)

To integrate the switch into your Z-Wave network, you need to "include" it with your Z-Wave controller.

1. Put your Z-Wave controller into Inclusion/Pairing mode. (Refer to your Z-Wave controller's manual for specific instructions).
2. On the GoControl WS15Z5-1 switch, quickly press the top or bottom paddle jednou. The LED indicator on the switch will blink to confirm inclusion mode.
3. The controller will confirm successful inclusion. The switch's LED will stop blinking and remain solid or turn off, depending on its status.
4. If inclusion fails, refer to the Troubleshooting section or try "Exclusion" first.

Údržba
