2. Bezpečnostní pokyny

Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before using the Scheppach MFH5200-4P. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury.

• Osobní ochranné prostředky (OOP): Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, sturdy footwear, and long pants. A helmet with a face shield is recommended for certain operations.
• Manipulace s palivem: Gasoline is highly flammable. Handle fuel in a well-ventilated area, away from open flames or sparks. Store fuel in approved containers.
• Pracovní oblast: Keep the work area clear of bystanders, children, and pets. Ensure good footing and be aware of your surroundings.

4. Montáž a nastavení

Before starting, ensure the engine is off and cool. Wear protective gloves during assembly.

4.1 Směs paliva

The MFH5200-4P uses a 2-stroke engine and requires a specific fuel mixture. Use unleaded gasoline mixed with high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at a ratio of 1:40 (2.5% oil). Do not use pure gasoline or a different mixture ratio, as this will damage the engine and void the warranty.

4.2 Připojení součástí

The multi-tool features a quick-release system for easy attachment changes. To attach an accessory:

1. Align the shaft of the desired attachment with the main engine unit's shaft.
2. Push the attachment firmly into place until the quick-release button or pin engages.
3. Tighten any securing screws or clamps as instructed in the attachment-specific section of the full manual.

To detach, press the quick-release button/pin and pull the attachment away.

4.3 Připevnění ramenního popruhu

Attach the included shoulder strap to the designated mounting point on the main shaft. Adjust the strap length to ensure comfortable and balanced weight distribution, reducing strain during operation. The hip protection should sit comfortably around your hip.

5. Návod k obsluze

5.1 Startování motoru

1. Umístěte nástroj na rovný a stabilní povrch.
2. Ujistěte se, že je palivová nádrž naplněna správnou směsí paliva v poměru 1:40.
3. Set the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
4. Engage the choke (usually by moving a lever to the "START" or "CHOKE" position).
5. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the clear line.
6. Pull the recoil starter cord firmly and steadily until the engine fires (it may run briefly and then stop).
7. Once the engine fires, disengage the choke (move the lever to the "RUN" position).
8. Pull the recoil starter cord again until the engine starts and runs smoothly.

5.2 Používání příloh

Always maintain a firm grip on the handles and keep the tool balanced. Wear appropriate PPE for each task.

5.2.1 Grass Trimmer (Rasenrimmer)

Ideal for trimming grass edges and light vegetation. The double line spool provides a 450 mm cutting width. The "Tap-Automatic" line extension allows you to extend the cutting line by gently tapping the trimmer head on the ground while the engine is running at full speed.

5.2.2 Brush Cutter (Motorsense)

Use the metal blade attachment for cutting thicker grass, weeds, and light brush. The 255 mm cutting width makes it efficient for clearing larger areas. Ensure the blade guard is properly installed.

5.2.3 Hedge Trimmer (Heckenschere)

Perfect for shaping hedges and shrubs. The 406 mm blade width and ability to swivel 165° in 15° increments allow for versatile cutting angles. Maximum cutting thickness is 24 mm.

5.2.4 Pole Pruner (Hochentaster)

Designed for pruning high branches. The 10" ProCut bar and chain provide a cutting length of 254 mm. The automatic chain lubrication system ensures smooth operation. Always ensure stable footing and be aware of falling branches.

6. Údržba

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Scheppach MFH5200-4P. Always turn off the engine and allow it to cool before performing any maintenance.

• Čištění: After each use, clean the tool thoroughly, removing grass, dirt, and debris from the engine, attachments, and air vents.
• Vzduchový filtr: Regularly inspect and clean the air filter. A clogged air filter can reduce engine performance. Replace if damaged.
• Zapalovací svíčka: Check the spark plug periodically for wear and carbon buildup. Clean or replace as necessary.
• Chain Lubrication (Pole Pruner): Ensure the pole pruner's chain oil reservoir is filled with appropriate chain oil. The automatic lubrication system requires a constant supply.
• Blades/Lines: Inspect trimmer lines, brush cutter blades, hedge trimmer blades, and pruner chains for sharpness and damage. Sharpen or replace as needed.
• Generální inspekce: Check all screws, nuts, and bolts for tightness. Tighten any loose fasteners.
• Skladování: When storing the tool for extended periods, drain the fuel tank or use a fuel stabilizer. Store in a dry, secure location away from children.
