1. Úvod

2. Bezpečnostní pokyny

Always read and understand all instructions before using the ladder. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death. Keep this manual for future reference.

Obecná bezpečnostní opatření:

• Inspect the ladder before each use for any damage, loose parts, or wear. Do not use if damaged.
• Ensure all locking mechanisms are fully engaged before climbing or working on the platform.
• Place the ladder on a firm, level, and non-slippery surface. Avoid soft ground, uneven surfaces, or slippery floors.

• Maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) when climbing or descending.

• When using as a scaffold or work platform, ensure all support struts are correctly installed and the platform is stable.
• Be aware that the safety rail may not perfectly align with connectors in some configurations; ensure primary support struts are secure before relying on the safety rail.
• When using as a lean-to ladder, ensure it is securely positioned and consider tying it to a stable structure if possible, especially if it feels light or prone to lifting.

3. Montáž a nastavení

The tectake® Multi-Purpose Ladder is designed for relatively straightforward assembly. While one person can assemble it, two people may find it easier, especially when handling the larger components.

Postup generálního shromáždění:

1. Rozbalte komponenty: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Check for any damage or missing items against the components list.
2. Připevněte kolečka: Securely attach the two castors (wheels) to the designated points on one of the ladder side parts. These are typically on the bottom of the vertical supports.
3. Connect Ladder Sides: Depending on the desired configuration (scaffolding or work platform), connect the two ladder side parts using the work platform and crossbar. Ensure all connections are firm.
4. Install Diagonal Safety Struts: Attach the four diagonal safety struts. These provide crucial stability. Ensure the black single part is hooked under the platform, and the double part is inserted into the appropriate side hole of the rung, creating a 45-degree angle. The aluminum part of the support passes from the outside to the inside of the ladder upright.
5. Engage Locking Mechanisms: Before use, double-check that all locking pins and levers are fully engaged and secure for the chosen configuration.

Note: Some users have reported that the safety rail may not perfectly align with connectors. Prioritize securing the main support struts first. If the safety rail does not fit perfectly, ensure the primary structure is stable before proceeding.

The tectake® Multi-Purpose Ladder offers four primary modes of operation. Always ensure the ladder is correctly configured and all safety mechanisms are engaged for the chosen mode.

4.1. Step Ladder Configuration

To use as a step ladder, fold the two ladder sections into an 'A' frame shape. Ensure the spreaders are fully extended and locked into place. This configuration is ideal for reaching moderate heights for tasks like painting, changing light bulbs, or accessing shelves.

4.2. Lean-To Ladder Configuration

For maximum height, extend the ladder sections fully to form a straight ladder. Lean it against a stable, solid surface at a safe angle (approximately 75 degrees from the horizontal). Ensure the top and bottom are secure and cannot slip. This mode is suitable for accessing roofs, high walls, or tall structures.

4.3. Work Platform Configuration

To create a work platform, set up two ladder sections parallel to each other, then place the work platform board across the rungs at the desired height. Secure the platform using the integrated locking mechanisms. This configuration provides a stable and wide surface for tasks requiring movement, such as painting large walls or ceiling work.

4.4. Scaffolding Configuration

The scaffolding configuration is similar to the work platform but includes additional diagonal safety struts and a crossbar (railing) for enhanced stability and safety, especially when working at higher elevations or on uneven surfaces like stairs. Ensure all four diagonal safety struts are correctly installed and the crossbar is in place. The integrated castors allow for easy repositioning.

Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and safe operation of your tectake® Multi-Purpose Ladder.

  • Locking mechanisms for proper function and engagement.
  • Rubber feet and castor wheels for wear or damage.
  • Work platform for cracks or instability.
  • All bolts, nuts, and fasteners for tightness.
• Mazání: Periodically apply a light lubricant to moving parts, such as hinges and locking mechanisms, to ensure smooth operation.
• Skladování: Store the ladder in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Its folding design allows for compact storage.
• Opravy: Do not attempt to repair damaged parts yourself unless you are qualified. Contact the manufacturer or a certified technician for repairs or replacement parts.
