3. Nastavení

Before operating the generator, ensure it is properly fueled and oiled.

3.1 Doplnění motorového oleje

1. Umístěte generátor na pevný a rovný povrch.
2. Locate the oil maintenance cover (Figure 3.1).
3. Remove the oil maintenance cover and then the oil plug.
4. Using a funnel, carefully add the specified amount of 4-stroke engine oil (SAE 10W-30) until it reaches the upper limit mark on the dipstick. The oil capacity is approximately 0.45 liters.
5. Reinsert the oil plug and secure the oil maintenance cover.

3.2 Adding Fuel (Gasoline)

1. Ujistěte se, že je generátor vypnutý a vychladlý.
2. Unscrew the fuel tank cap (Figure 3.2).
3. Carefully pour unleaded gasoline into the fuel tank, ensuring not to exceed the red level indicator inside the tank. The fuel tank capacity is 4.2 liters.
4. Bezpečně nasaďte víčko palivové nádrže.

Follow these steps to safely start and operate your KOSHIN Inverter Generator GV-16i.

4.1 Startování motoru

1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and has sufficient fuel and oil.
2. Set the fuel cock knob to the "ON" position.
3. Otočte spínač motoru do polohy „ON“.
4. Move the choke lever to the "START" position (if the engine is cold).
5. Pull the recoil starter grip firmly until the engine starts.
6. Once the engine starts and runs smoothly, gradually return the choke lever to the "RUN" position.

• Ensure the generator's output indicator light is green, indicating stable power output.
• Plug your electrical devices into the AC outlets.

2. Otočte spínač motoru do polohy „VYPNUTO“.
3. Set the fuel cock knob to the "OFF" position.

• Oil Warning Lamp (Červené): Illuminates when engine oil is low. The engine will automatically stop to prevent damage. Refill engine oil to the proper level.
• Overload Warning Lamp (Červené): Illuminates when the generator is overloaded. The power output will be cut off. Reduce the load by disconnecting appliances and press the AC reset button to restore power. The engine will not stop during an overload.
