Nastavení
The Kidde Carbon Monoxide Detector is designed for easy plug-in installation.

- Vyberte umístění: Select a standard 120V AC power outlet. For optimal detection, install the CO detector on every level of your home and near sleeping areas. Avoid placing it near fuel-burning appliances, in direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity or extreme temperatures.

Digitální LED displej
The digital LED display shows the level of carbon monoxide the alarm is sensing in parts per million (PPM). It updates every 15 seconds. A reading of '0' indicates no detectable CO.
Tlačítko Test/Tush
The Test/Hush button is located on the front of the unit.
- Testování: Press and hold the Test/Hush button for a few seconds. The alarm will sound, and the display will show '888' to confirm the unit is functioning correctly. Release the button to stop the test.
- Hushing: If the alarm sounds due to a non-emergency event (e.g., cooking fumes), press the Test/Hush button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 8 minutes. The unit will return to normal monitoring after the hush period.

The detector records the highest CO level detected since the last reset or test. To view the peak level, press the 'Peak Level' button. The display will show the highest PPM recorded. Press again to return to current CO level display.

When carbon monoxide is detected at dangerous levels, the unit will sound an 85-decibel alarm and the digital display will show the CO concentration in PPM.
