1. Úvod

The Excelvan ZJ thermal printer is designed for high-speed, low-noise receipt printing. It offers efficient and cost-effective operation, compatible with the ESC/POS printing command set. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your printer.

4. Nastavení

4.1 Připojení tiskárny

Connect the power adapter to the printer's power interface and then to an electrical outlet. Connect the USB cable from the printer's USB interface to your computer. If using a cash drawer, connect it to the RJ11 cash drawer interface.

4.2 Vkládání termopapíru

1. Open the printer cover by pressing the release button or lever.
2. Insert a new thermal paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge is straight.
3. Vytáhněte malé množství papíru ven z řezačky.

4.3 Instalace ovladače

The printer is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. An instruction CD is included with the necessary drivers. Insert the CD into your computer and follow the on-screen instructions for installation.

Důležitá poznámka: This printer does not work with iOS Mac or Windows 8.1 systems. For Windows 8 or LINUX systems, please contact the seller for specific installation instructions before attempting to use the printer.

5. Návod k obsluze

5.1 Zapnutí/vypnutí

Ensure the printer is connected to power. Use the power switch located on the rear of the printer to turn it on or off.

5.2 Základní tisk

Once the drivers are installed and the printer is connected, you can send print jobs from your application. The printer supports the ESC/POS command set, allowing for various printing functionalities such as character enlargement, adjustable line spacing, and printing of bitmaps and downloaded graphics.

The KRMIVO button on the control panel can be used to advance the paper manually.

6. Údržba

• Čištění: Regularly clean the printer's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For the thermal print head, use a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab. Ensure the printer is turned off and cooled down before cleaning the print head.
• Papír: Use only high-quality thermal paper to ensure optimal print quality and to prevent damage to the print head. Store thermal paper in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Prostředí: Operate the printer in a clean, dust-free environment to prolong its lifespan.

7. Řešení problémů

• Tiskárna nereaguje:
  • Zkontrolujte, zda je napájecí kabel bezpečně připojen a zda je tiskárna zapnutá.
  • Verify the USB cable connection between the printer and the computer.
  • Ensure the correct printer drivers are installed and selected in your operating system.
• Špatná kvalita tisku:
  • Check the thermal paper roll. Ensure it is loaded correctly and is not old or damaged.
  • Vyčistěte termotiskovou hlavu podle pokynů v části Údržba.
• Zaseknutý papír:
  • Vypněte tiskárnu.
  • Otevřete kryt tiskárny a opatrně odstraňte veškerý zaseknutý papír.
  • Ensure the paper roll is properly seated and close the cover.
