Instalace a nastavení
The SCHLAGE CO-100 lock is designed to be non-handed, allowing for flexible installation on left or right-handed doors. Installation may require drilling additional holes in the door for proper mounting. Refer to the included installation template for precise measurements.
Mechanická instalace
- Připravte dveře: Use the provided template to mark and drill any necessary holes for the lock chassis, levers, and cylinder. Ensure the door preparation meets the lock's specifications.
- Install Latch/Bolt: Insert the latch or bolt into the door edge and secure it with screws.
- Install Outside Assembly: Place the outside lock assembly (keypad and exterior lever) through the door, ensuring the spindle engages with the latch mechanism.
- Install Inside Assembly: Connect the inside lock assembly (interior lever and battery housing) to the outside assembly using the provided through-bolts. Ensure all wires are properly routed and not pinched.

Initial Electronic Setup

Operace
Unlocking with a PIN Code
- Enter your valid 4-8 digit PIN code on the keypad.
- The lock will emit a confirmation tone or light.
- Turn the exterior lever to open the door.
- The lock will automatically re-lock after a few seconds (default setting).
Adding/Deleting User PIN Codes
User PIN codes can be added or deleted directly at the door using the master code. Refer to the detailed programming guide for specific key sequences. The lock can store up to 500 unique user codes.
Mechanické potlačení klíče
In case of battery failure or forgotten PIN codes, the lock can always be opened using the provided mechanical key. Insert the key into the cylinder and turn to unlock.

Výměna baterie
The lock operates on 4 AA batteries, which typically provide a 2-year battery life under normal usage. When the batteries are low, the lock will provide an audible or visual low battery warning. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline AA batteries.
- Locate the battery cover on the interior side of the lock.
- Remove the cover and carefully remove the old batteries.
