1. Úvod

This manual provides instructions for the VTech CS6529-4 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System. This system includes a base unit with a digital answering machine and four cordless handsets, offering advanced features such as Caller ID/Call Waiting, a full-duplex speakerphone, and Quiet Mode. The DECT 6.0 digital technology ensures clear communication and enhanced security.

4. Nastavení

4.1. Instalace baterie

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each cordless handset.
2. Connect the provided rechargeable battery pack to the connector inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Vložte baterii do přihrádky a zavřete kryt.

4.2. Připojení základní jednotky

1. Zapojte jeden konec telefonního kabelu do zdířky TEL LINE na zadní straně základní jednotky.

3. Plug the small end of the AC adapter into the POWER jack on the back of the base unit.
4. Plug the large end of the AC adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.

4.3. Handset Charging

Place each cordless handset into its respective charging cradle. The CHARGE light on the handset will illuminate, indicating proper charging. Allow at least 16 hours for the batteries to fully charge before initial use.

4.4. Nastavení data a času

After the handsets are charged, the display will prompt you to set the date and time. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure these settings for accurate Caller ID records and answering system timestamps.

5. Provoz

5.1. Uskutečňování a přijímání hovorů

• Chcete-li zavolat: Stiskněte HOVOR / FLASH or REPRODUKTORa poté vytočte telefonní číslo.
• Chcete-li přijmout hovor: Stiskněte HOVOR / FLASH or REPRODUKTOR když zazvoní telefon.
• Ukončení hovoru: Stiskněte VYP/ZRUŠIT nebo vložte sluchátko zpět do nabíjecí kolébky.

5.2. Hlasitý telefon

The handset features a full-duplex speakerphone for hands-free conversations. Press the REPRODUKTOR button during a call to activate or deactivate the speakerphone.

5.3. Identifikace volajícího a čekající hovor

The system displays the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. If you subscribe to Call Waiting service, the phone will alert you to a second incoming call. Press BLIKAT pro přepínání mezi hovory.

5.4. Digitální záznamník

The base unit features a digital answering system with up to 14 minutes of recording time. You can listen to messages from the base unit or any cordless handset.

• Zapnutí/vypnutí: Stiskněte ANS ON/OFF na základní jednotce.
• To Play Messages: Stiskněte PLAY/STOP na základní jednotce.
• Vzdálený přístup: You can access your messages remotely by calling your home number and entering a remote access code.

5.5. Interkom

Pro komunikaci mezi sluchátky použijte funkci interkomu. Stiskněte INT on a handset, then dial the number of the desired handset.

5.6. Tichý režim

Silence the ringer on the handset and base unit for a specified period. This is useful for uninterrupted sleep or meetings. Access Quiet Mode settings through the handset menu.

5.7. Telefonní seznam

Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook for quick dialing. Access the phonebook via the handset menu.

5.8. Blokování hovorů

The system may offer features to block unwanted calls. Consult the handset menu for specific call blocking options and setup.

5.9. Wall Mount Option

The base unit can be mounted on a wall to save counter space. Use the included wall mount bracket and follow the instructions for secure installation.

6.1. Péče o baterie

The handsets use rechargeable batteries. For optimal performance:

• Always return handsets to their charging cradles when not in use.
• Replace batteries when they no longer hold a charge effectively. Use only VTech approved replacement batteries.

6.2. Čištění

Otřete povrch telefonu měkkým hadříkemamp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.

7. Řešení problémů

If you experience issues with your VTech CS6529-4 system, try the following steps:

• Žádný oznamovací tón: Ensure the telephone line cord is securely plugged into both the base unit and the wall jack. Check if your telephone service is active.
