Průvodce nastavením
Follow these steps to set up your HTC Vive system for the first time:
- Charge Controllers: Remove the controllers and their charging cables. Plug them into a power source using the provided USB AC adapters. Allow approximately 2 hours for a full charge.
- Connect Link Box: The link box has two sides. One side connects to your computer (PC) via USB and HDMI cables. The other side connects to the headset via HDMI and USB cables. Ensure the link box is also connected to a power outlet.
- Position Base Stations: Identify your play area. The system comes with two base stations (sensors) that track the headset and controllers. These must be able to visibly track both the headset and controllers for the system to function. Mount them securely (screws not included) at a height of approximately 6.5 feet, ensuring they have access to power outlets.
- Instalace softwaru: If you have a Steam account on PC, download and install SteamVR. This software will guide you through the proper setup, including pairing controllers and defining your play area.

Operating the HTC Vive
Once set up, the HTC Vive offers a deeply immersive virtual reality experience. The system provides realistic movement and actions through precise 360-degree controller and headset tracking.
Interacting in VR:
- The wireless controllers feature a multifunction trackpad, Grip buttons, dual-stage trigger, System button, Menu button for intuitive interaction within virtual environments.
- The Chaperone system will display an imaginary grid when you approach the boundaries of your defined play area, ensuring safety and preventing collisions with physical objects.
- The headset's front-facing camera can be activated to provide a real-world view without removing the headset.

Údržba
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your HTC Vive system:
