5. Nastavení

5.1 Instalace baterie

1. Vyhledejte přihrádku na baterii na zadní straně zařízení.
2. Posuňte kryt přihrádky na baterie dolů a otevřete jej.
3. Insert two AA 1.5V alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

1. Identify the two probe connection ports on the side of the MT160 unit.

1. Ensure the probe is connected and the device is powered on.
2. Apply a small amount of coupling agent to the surface of the material to be measured. This eliminates air gaps between the probe and the material, which would interfere with ultrasonic wave transmission.
3. Place the probe firmly and flatly onto the prepared surface.
4. The LCD display will show the thickness reading. The coupling status indicator will confirm proper contact.
5. Remove the probe from the surface after the reading stabilizes.

6.3 Kalibrace

Calibration is crucial for accurate measurements. The MT160 allows for calibration using a known thickness or by measuring sound speed.

2. Move the probe across the surface. The device will continuously update the display with readings (ten per second).
3. Stiskněte tlačítko SKENOVAT button again to exit Scan Mode.

• Use the designated memory button (often indicated by a folder icon or similar) to save readings.
• Navigate through stored files and values using the arrow buttons.

• Remaining Battery Indicator: Shows the current battery level in real-time.
