4.1. Hard, Medium, or Soft-Boiled Eggs
- Fill the measuring cup with cold water to the desired line (Soft, Medium, Hard) based on your preference and the number of eggs.
- Pour the water onto the heating plate.
- Place the boiling tray on the base.
- Carefully place up to 6 pierced eggs onto the boiling tray.
- Cover with the clear lid.
- Plug in the unit and press the power button. The power light will illuminate.
- Once cooking is complete, the unit will automatically shut off and a chime will sound.
- Carefully remove the lid and eggs (use oven mitts as steam will be hot). Immediately rinse eggs under cold water or place them in an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.
4.2. Poached Eggs
- Fill the measuring cup with cold water to the 'Poached' line.
- Pour the water onto the heating plate.
- Lightly grease the poaching tray with cooking spray or butter.
- Crack up to two eggs into the poaching tray cups.
- Place the poaching tray on top of the boiling tray (the boiling tray must be in place).
- Cover with the clear lid.
