1. Úvod

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Kegco K199SS-1 Single Tap Stainless Steel Kegerator. This unit is designed to dispense draft beverages from a keg and can also function as a standard refrigerator. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure proper functionality and to prevent injury or damage.

The Kegco K199SS-1 features a complete direct draw keg tap kit, compatible with most D System domestic beer kegs. It includes a 15-inch chrome-plated metal draft tower with one faucet, a Sankey keg coupler, an aluminum 5 lb. CO2 cylinder, and a single gauge regulator. Additional features include a removable drip tray, a textured serving countertop with a metal safety rail, and a steel interior floor mat.

4. Průvodce nastavením

4.1. Umístění a vyrovnání

Place the kegerator on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The dimensions are approximately 25.5"D x 20"W x 33"H. Use the adjustable leveling feet or casters to ensure the unit is level.

4.2. Installing the Draft Tower

1. Locate the pre-drilled hole on the top of the kegerator cabinet.
2. Feed the beer line and air line from the draft tower through this hole.
3. Align the tower base with the mounting holes and secure it using the provided screws.
4. Attach the chrome guard rail around the top edge of the unit, if desired.

4.3. Connecting the CO2 Regulator and Tank

1. Ensure the 5 lb. CO2 cylinder is empty before filling. Have it filled by a certified gas supplier.
2. Attach the CO2 regulator to the CO2 cylinder. Ensure the washer is in place to prevent leaks. Tighten securely with a wrench.
3. Connect the air line hose from the draft tower to the output barb on the CO2 regulator. Secure with a clamp.

4.4. Attaching the Keg Coupler

1. Connect the beer line from the draft tower to the top of the Sankey keg coupler. Secure with a clamp.
2. Connect the air line from the CO2 regulator to the side barb on the keg coupler. Secure with a clamp.

5. Operating Your Kegerator

5.1. Loading a Keg

The Kegco K199SS-1 can hold one full-size, straight pony, or quarter slim keg, or up to two sixth slim, strap handle, or rubber home brew kegs. It will not fit Bevel or Rubber Kegs (commonly used by Coors and Miller Brewing Companies) which are wider in the middle.

1. Open the kegerator door.
2. Carefully place the keg inside the cabinet. Ensure it is centered to allow the door to close properly.
3. Attach the keg coupler to the keg by aligning it with the keg valve and twisting clockwise until it locks into place. Push down the handle to engage the coupler.
4. Open the valve on the CO2 cylinder.
5. Adjust the CO2 regulator to the recommended pressure for your beverage (typically 10-12 PSI for most beers).
6. Close the kegerator door.

5.2. Dispensing Beverages

After the keg is loaded and CO2 pressure is set, allow the kegerator to cool the beverage to the desired temperature (typically 38°F for most beers). This may take several hours.

1. Place a glass under the faucet.
2. Pull the faucet handle forward to dispense.
3. Push the faucet handle back to stop dispensing.

5.3. Converting to an All-Refrigerator

The Kegco K199SS-1 can be converted into a standard refrigerator by removing the keg and CO2 tank. Two removable wire shelves are included for this purpose.

1. Disconnect the keg coupler from the keg and remove the keg and CO2 tank from the unit.
2. Place the wire shelves inside the cabinet as desired.
3. The unit will now function as a compact beverage refrigerator.

6. Údržba a čištění

6.1. Cleaning the Beer Lines

Regular cleaning of beer lines is crucial for maintaining beverage quality and preventing bacterial growth. Clean lines every 2-4 weeks, or between keg changes.

1. Disconnect the keg coupler from the keg.
2. Use a beer line cleaning kit (sold separately) with a suitable cleaning solution.
3. Follow the cleaning kit instructions to flush the beer line, faucet, and coupler with cleaning solution, then rinse thoroughly with water.

6.2. Čištění odkapávací misky

The removable drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent spills and maintain hygiene.

1. Slide out the drip tray from under the faucet.
2. Empty any collected liquid.
3. Wash the drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing.

6.3. General Interior and Exterior Cleaning

Wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces of the kegerator with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning the interior.
