This manual provides instructions for the VTech CS6409 Accessory Cordless Handset. This handset is designed to expand your existing VTech CS6419, CS6428, or CS6429 Series DECT 6.0 cordless phone system. It cannot operate independently and requires a compatible VTech base unit to function.

Nastavení

1. Instalace baterie

2. Počáteční nabití baterie

Place the handset in its charger. For optimal battery performance, allow the handset to charge for at least 24 hours continuously before initial use. The CHARGE indicator light on the handset will illuminate during charging.

3. Registrace sluchátka k základní jednotce

The CS6409 is an accessory handset and must be registered to a compatible VTech CS6419, CS6428, or CS6429 Series base unit to function. Follow these steps:

1. Ensure the accessory handset is fully charged.
2. Place the new handset into the main phone base unit you already have.
3. Na základní jednotce stiskněte a podržte tlačítko NAJDETE SLUCHÁTKO button for approximately 4 seconds until the V POUŽÍVÁNÍ light on the base unit turns red.
4. Within 5 seconds, lift the new handset off the base and press the # tlačítko na sluchátku.
5. The handset display should indicate that it is registering. Once registered, it will show the handset number (e.g., HS 2, HS 3).
6. If registration fails, try again. If issues persist, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Poznámka: If you need to un-register handsets from a base unit (e.g., to re-assign handset numbers), you typically hold the NAJDETE SLUCHÁTKO button on the base for about 10 seconds, then press it again within 5 seconds to confirm un-registration of all handsets. Consult your base unit's manual for specific un-registration procedures.

4. Montáž na stěnu (volitelné)

The handset charger can be mounted on a wall using the included wall mount bracket. This helps to reduce desk clutter.

1. Attach the wall mount bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (not included).
2. Slide the handset charger onto the bracket until it clicks into place.

Uskutečňování a přijímání hovorů

The handset displays the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. It stores up to 50 caller ID entries. If you subscribe to call waiting service, the handset will alert you to a second incoming call.

Sluchátko Hlasitý telefon

Stiskněte tlačítko REPRODUKTOR button (speaker icon) during a call to activate the hands-free speakerphone function. Press it again to return to normal handset use.

The keypad and LCD screen illuminate for easier viewing in dim light conditions.

The handset features ECO mode power-conserving technology, which manages power consumption for optimal battery performance and extended talk time.

Store up to 50 names and numbers in the phonebook directory for quick dialing. Refer to your base unit's manual for detailed instructions on adding and managing phonebook entries.

Intercom Between Handsets

If you have multiple registered handsets, you can use the intercom feature to communicate between them without using the external phone line. Press the INT tlačítko pro zahájení interkomového hovoru.

Konferenční hovory

The system supports conference calls between an outside line and up to two cordless handsets. Consult your base unit's manual for specific instructions on setting up a conference call.

Tichý režim

Activate Quiet Mode to silence the ringer on the handset for a set period, useful for undisturbed times.

Clean the handset and charger with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or harsh chemicals. Ensure the product is unplugged before cleaning.

• Use only the supplied rechargeable battery pack.
