For acoustic guitars, basses, or other acoustic instruments, use the GA-1's high-sensitivity built-in microphone.

1. Place the GA-1 near the sound source of your acoustic instrument.
2. Pluck a single string or play a note. The tuner will pick up the sound via its microphone.
3. Follow the same LCD and LED indicator guidance as for direct input tuning to adjust your instrument.

4.3. Flat Tuning Mode (Quinta Flat)

The Quinta Flat Tuning mode allows you to tune your instrument down by 1 to 5 semitones (half steps), which is useful for various musical styles requiring lowered tunings.

1. While in Guitar or Bass mode, press the BYT button repeatedly to select the desired number of semitones to tune down (b, bb, bbb, bbbb, bbbbb).
2. The flat symbol(s) will appear on the LCD display, indicating the active flat tuning setting.
3. Tune your instrument as usual, and the GA-1 will guide you to the correct lowered pitch.

4.4. Sound Out Function

The Sound Out function allows the GA-1 to emit a reference tone, which can be used for manual tuning by ear or for ear training exercises.
