3. Bezpečnostní opatření
WARNING: Improper use can lead to electric shock, fire, or damage to the device. Always follow these safety guidelines.
- Elektrická bezpečnost: The red soldering pens are electrically charged. Do NOT touch any components on the board while the device is powered on or connected to a battery.
- svtage Limity: Do not exceed the specified operating voltage range of the product. Exceeding this range may cause permanent damage to the device.
- Prostředí: Use the product in a well-ventilated, dry environment, free from rain and excessive humidity.
- Zdroj napájení: Prohibit the use of switching power supplies, transformers, chargers, water batteries, or power banks as the spot welder power supply, as this will damage the spot welder control circuit.
- Děti a domácí mazlíčci: Udržujte zařízení mimo dosah dětí a domácích zvířat.
- Modifikace: Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the device. Unauthorized modifications will void the warranty and may lead to safety hazards.
4. Pokyny k nastavení
4.1. Selection of Power Supply
The spot welder requires a suitable 12V power source. Choose one of the following options:
- **Lead-acid battery:** A 12V lead-acid battery with a capacity of 20-40AH is required. For batteries over 45AH, consult customer service for current limiting methods.
- **Model aircraft batteries:** 3S-4S batteries are suitable. The product of capacity (AH) and discharge rate (e.g., 60C means a discharge rate of 60) should ideally be between 100-300A.
- **Car jump starters:** A 12V car jump starter with an EC5 interface is required. The peak current should not exceed 300A.

4.3. Pokyny pro zapojení
Carefully connect the components as follows:
- **Connect Spot Welding Pens to Main Unit:** Connect the output spot welding pens to the main unit. Ensure the black wire is connected to the negative terminal (OUT-) and the red wire to the positive terminal (OUT+).
- **Connect Power Source to Main Unit:** Connect the input wiring from your chosen power source to the main unit. Connect the black wire to the negative terminal (BAT-) and the red wire to the positive terminal (BAT+).
IMPORTANT: Double-check all connections for correct polarity before powering on the device. Incorrect wiring can damage the unit.

5. Návod k obsluze
5.1. Zapnutí/vypnutí a výběr režimu
- **Power On/Off:** Short press the 'On/Off Key/Mode Key/Up Key' to turn the display on or off. Long press the button for 2 seconds to turn off the device. In the off state, long press for 2 seconds to turn it back on.
- **Switching Display Modes:** Short press the mode button to switch between 'D' gear (downshift) and 'R' gear (increase). Long press the mode button for 1 second to switch the display mode (gear display, temperature display, voltage displej).

5.2. Adjusting Welding Power (Gears)
The device features 99 gears of power adjustment (0-99). '0' gear is the lowest, and '99' gears is the highest. To increase or decrease the gears:
- Use the 'Up Key' (right button) to increase the gear.
- Use the 'Decrease Key' (left button) to decrease the gear.
If the current limiting method is used, please prepare 1.5 square wire 1 meter, one end of the wire connected to the positive terminal of the spot welder control board output. If the spot welding is not strong enough, you can gradually reduce the length of the wire (1m -> 0.75m -> 0.5m -> 0.3m). If the weld is still not strong enough, it means the current limiting wire is the right length.

5.3. Spot Welding Technique
Spot welding is a process of joining metals by applying instantaneous high current, which generates heat at the contact point, fusing the electrode and the welded metal. The substrate, being thicker than the welding tape, allows more current to pass through the welded joints, forming a substrate current. The resistance at the contact points causes the temperature to rise dramatically, leading to instantaneous fusion of the welding tape and the substrate. To achieve a stronger weld, you may need to reduce the current of the welding band or increase the current of the substrate (e.g., use thinner welding tape or notched tape).
- Place the nickel sheet on the surface of the battery electrode to be welded.
- Use a welding pen to point at an angle to hold the nickel sheet.
- Use another welding pen to point up slightly at an angle.
- Ensure the distance between the two pens is close to a little bit.
- The control board detects that the welding pen has been placed for 0.5 seconds after triggering the weld.
- If the weld is too small on the lower gear, increase the gear.
Note: When spot welding, keep the nickel strip and the battery surface flat and well aligned, without any gaps. When spot welding, the probe should be slightly tilted, and do not apply force; just make gentle contact. Applying too much force can actually result in a poor weld.

6. Údržba
- **Cleaning:** Keep the control board and welding pens clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- **Storage:** Store the spot welder kit in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- **Inspection:** Periodically inspect the welding pens and connection wires for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
7. Řešení problémů
7.1. Chybové kódy
- **UE Alarm:** If the digital display shows 'UE', it indicates that the real-time voltage is not within the safe operating range of 8-17V. Check your power supply and ensure it meets the voltage požadavky.
- **CE Alarm:** If the digital display shows 'CE', it indicates that the MOS tube temperature has exceeded 45 ℃. Allow the device to cool down before continuing operation to prevent damage.

7.2. Welding Issues
- **Weak Weld:** If the spot weld is not strong enough, try the following:
- Gradually reduce the length of the current limiting wire (if used) from 1m to 0.75m, 0.5m, or 0.3m.
- Increase the welding gear setting.
- Ensure the nickel strip and battery surface are clean, flat, and well-aligned.
- Apply gentle contact with the welding pens, avoiding excessive force.
- **No Weld/Spark:** Check all electrical connections for tightness and correct polarity. Ensure your power source is adequately charged and capable of delivering the required current.
