1. Úvod
The EDUP AB022 is a high-power dual-band WiFi booster designed to extend the range and improve the signal quality of your existing wireless LAN devices. It operates on both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies, providing up to 4W (36dBm) of output power to significantly enhance your WiFi coverage. This device is ideal for outdoor applications and works with certified IEEE 802.11a/n Wireless LAN devices.

2. Co je v krabici

3. Pokyny k nastavení
The EDUP AB022 is designed for simple plug-and-play operation, requiring no software installation. Follow these steps to set up your WiFi booster:
- Napájení: The booster does not come with a power supply. You will need to provide one of the following:
- A 12V/1A power adapter.
- A 5V portable charger (power bank).
- A compatible battery.
- Connect to Router/Access Point (AP):
- Identify the antenna ports on your WiFi router or access point.
- Connect the short RF cables from the "TO AP1" ports on the booster unit to the corresponding antenna ports on your router/AP. Ensure a secure connection.
- Připojte antény:
- Attach the provided antennas directly to the "TO ANT1" ports on the booster unit.
- Alternatively, if using external antennas, connect the longer RF cables from the "TO ANT1" ports on the booster unit to your external antennas.
- Zapnout: Once all connections are secure, power on the booster unit.
Important Note on Power Input:
Ensure the input trigger power from your router/AP to the booster is within the specified range: Minimum 3dBm, Maximum 20dBm. Using excessive power may damage the equipment or cause it to malfunction.

The diagram illustrates the connection for both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz channels. Each channel has a "TO AP" port for connecting to your Access Point/Router and a "TO ANT" port for connecting to the antenna.
4. Provoz
Once properly installed and powered on, the EDUP AB022 will automatically begin boosting your WiFi signal. It works by amplifying both the transmit and receive signals of your wireless devices, extending their range and improving connection stability.
LED indikátory:
- Vysílač (TX): A green LED indicates that the booster is actively transmitting a signal.
- Přijímač (RX): A red LED indicates that the booster is actively receiving a signal.
These indicators help confirm that the booster is functioning correctly in both directions.

7. Řešení problémů

- Poor Signal Improvement:
- Check all RF cable connections between the booster, router/AP, and antennas. Loose connections can degrade performance.
- Ensure the input trigger power from your router/AP is within the 3dBm to 20dBm range. Input power outside this range can cause malfunction or damage.
- Confirm that your router/AP is transmitting a strong enough signal for the booster to amplify effectively.
- Adjust antenna positioning for optimal signal reception and transmission.
- Booster Malfunction/Damage:
- If the booster exhibits unusual behavior or stops working, immediately check the input power. Excessive input power (above 20dBm) can burn out the equipment.
- If damage is suspected, discontinue use and contact support.

- Orientace antény: Experiment with the orientation of the antennas to find the best signal strength.
