2. Bezpečnostní pravidla a opatření
This manual provides essential instructions for safe operation and maintenance of the instrument. Improper use may lead to damage or injury. This instrument is designed and manufactured in strict compliance with GB4793.1 and IEC/EN61010-1 safety standards for electronic measuring instruments, featuring double insulation and overvoltage standards CATIII 1000V and CATII 600V, pollution class 2.
- Before use, always inspect the insulating layer of the test leads for any damage, exposed wires, or disconnections. Do not use the instrument if the back cover is not properly secured, as this poses a risk of electric shock.
- When measuring, avoid touching exposed wires, connectors, and unused input terminals or circuits.
- Měřicí objemtages above 60V DC or 30V AC presents a potential risk of electric shock. Exercise extreme caution to prevent shock.
- Always select the correct range and function for your measurement. If the measurement value is unknown, start with the highest range setting.
- Do not measure currents or voltages that exceed the maximum values indicated on the port or rotary switch to prevent electric shock and instrument damage.
- Before changing the function/range switch for current measurements, ensure the test leads are unplugged to avoid damaging the mechanical protection device.
- Never insert the test leads into the current port to test voltage, as this will damage the meter or cause an accident.
- Do not rotate the function/range switch while actively measuring.
- Before measuring resistance, performing continuity tests, or diode tests, ensure the power supply to the circuit is off and all high-voltage kondenzátory jsou vybité.
- Do not use or store the instrument in environments with high temperatures, high humidity, flammable or explosive gases, or strong electromagnetic fields.
- Do not attempt to modify the internal circuit of the meter, as this may cause damage to the meter and compromise safety.
- When the LCD displays the "" symbol, it indicates that the battery voltage is low and the battery should be replaced promptly to maintain measurement accuracy.
- If a fuse replacement is necessary, use only fuses with the same specifications and models.
- Wear appropriate eye protection when testing or repairing a car to prevent foreign objects from entering the eyes.
- Perform automotive operations and maintenance in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling toxic gases.
- To prevent electric shock, turn off the car engine before connecting or removing the test leads.
- If the car engine is running, keep the instrument and accessories away from the engine or exhaust pipe to prevent damage from high temperatures.
- Always refer to the car manufacturer's warnings, precautions, and repair procedures when working on a vehicle.

5. Návod k obsluze
5.1 Měření DC/AC napětítage
- Power on the multimeter and select the DC voltage (V---) or AC voltage (V~) gear using the rotary switch.
- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz°C socket and the black test lead into the COM socket.
- Use the stylus probes to contact the test points on the circuit.
- The display screen will show the measured voltage hodnota.

5.2. Measuring DC Current
- After powering on, select the appropriate current measurement gear (A or mA).
- Insert the red test lead into the A or mA socket (depending on the expected current range) and the black test lead into the COM socket.
- Connect the test probes in series with the circuit under test.
- The measured current value will be displayed on the screen.
Poznámka: When measuring current in the mA range, the signal must be input from the mA-COM jack. For currents in the A range, the signal must be input from the A-COM jack. Failure to do so may result in inaccurate readings or instrument damage. Always connect in series.

5.3. Měření odporu
- Select the resistance measurement (Ω) gear after powering on.
- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz°C socket and the black test lead into the COM socket.
- Use the stylus probes to contact the desired circuit test points.
- The measured resistance value will be displayed on the screen.
5.4. Diode and Continuity (On-Off) Judgment
- Select the diode/continuity ( ) gear after booting.
- Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz°C socket and the black test lead into the COM socket.
- For diode testing, connect the red test lead to the positive pole of the diode and the black test lead to the negative pole. The screen will display the voltage hodnota diody.
- For continuity testing, touch the probes to both ends of the component or wire. If the measured resistance is less than 50 ohms, the buzzer will sound, indicating continuity. No sound indicates an open circuit or damage.
5.5. Engine Closure Angle (DWELL) Measurement
The closing angle refers to the duration the touchpoint remains closed during the ignition cycle, which is crucial for optimal ignition energy accumulation. An incorrect closing angle can lead to ignition coil damage or reduced engine performance.
- Insert the black test lead into the COM socket and the red test lead into the VΩHz°C socket.
- According to the number of engine cylinders, set the function switch to the corresponding "DWELL" range.
- Connect the black test lead to the iron (ground) or the negative electrode of the battery.
- Connect the red test lead to the voltage terminal of the distributor or the negative (-) end of the ignition coil.
- Start the engine and read the closing angle from the multimeter display.
Pozor:
- For best results, consult the engine manufacturer's technical specifications. Typical normal closing angles are: 3-cylinder engine: 60-80 degrees; 4-cylinder engine: 45-60 degrees; 5-cylinder engine: 36-48 degrees; 6-cylinder engine: 30-40 degrees; 8-cylinder engine: 22.5-30 degrees.
- If the measured angle is too large, the touchpoint gap is too large. If the angle is too small, the touchpoint gap is too narrow.

5.6. Engine Speed (RPM) Measurement
- Insert the black test lead into the COM socket and the red test lead into the VΩHz°C socket.
- According to the number of engine cylinders, set the function switch to the corresponding "RPM" range.
- Connect the black test lead to the iron (ground) or the negative electrode of the battery.
- Connect the red test lead to the low-voltage terminal of the distributor or the negative (-) end of the ignition coil.
- Start the engine. The data displayed on the meter should be multiplied by 10 to obtain the actual engine speed in RPM.
