The DATOUBOSS Solar Plug-RWB1 is an acquisition module designed to facilitate data transmission between hybrid inverters (48V/24V) and monitoring platforms. It utilizes Wi-Fi and BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) for data collection and monitoring from inverters, energy storage devices, and other compatible equipment.

Equipped with rich network protocols and an integrated RS232 data transmission interface, the module offers easy integration with traditional serial devices without the need for additional drivers. It supports four-color photovoltaic energy management systems and is ideal for the photovoltaic energy industry, allowing users to monitor energy data via a web page or a dedicated mobile application.

2. Nastavení

2.1. Fyzická instalace

The Solar Plug-RWB1 module connects directly to your hybrid inverter via an RJ45 port. Ensure the inverter is powered off before installation.

2.2. App Configuration (Wi-Fi)

To connect your module to Wi-Fi and add it to the monitoring platform, follow these steps using the 'Solar of Things' app:

  1. Download and open the 'Solar of Things' app on your smartphone.
  2. Review and agree to the Privacy Policy.
  3. On the login screen, tap 'Wi-Fi Configuration'.
  4. Grant necessary permissions (Camera/album, Positioning, Storage, Bluetooth) when prompted.
  5. The app will search for nearby devices. Select your DATOUBOSS module from the list (identified by its ID).
  6. Hledat and select your local Wi-Fi router's SSID.

  8. Tap 'Setup' to initiate the connection.
  9. Wait for the 'Distribution in progress' message to complete. If it takes longer than 30 seconds, double-check your router password.
  10. Once 'Successful Distribution Network' appears, tap 'Return'.

2.3. App Configuration (Adding Device)

After successfully configuring Wi-Fi, you can add your device to your account:

  1. Log in to your registered 'Solar of Things' account.
  2. On the main screen, tap the '+' button in the top right corner to add a device.
  3. The app will scan for the configured device. Select your DATOUBOSS module.
  4. Fill in the required 'Device Information':
    • Typ zařízení: Select 'PV Inverter'.
    • DTU ID: This should be pre-filled.
    • Název zařízení: Enter a descriptive name for your inverter.
    • Rated Power (kW): Enter the rated power of your inverter.
    • Total Capacity (kWp): Enter the total capacity of your solar array.
  5. Fill in the 'Installation Information':
    • Adresa: Select your location on the map.

3.1. Indicator Light Functions

The module features four LED indicator lights and a Reload reset button on its front face. These indicators provide visual feedback on the module's status:

The 'Reload' button serves as a reset function. Press and hold this button for more than 4 seconds, then release it to restore the module to its factory default settings. This can be useful for troubleshooting connectivity issues or reconfiguring the module.

4.1. Internal Antenna Considerations

The module uses an internal PCB antenna. To ensure optimal performance and reliable data transmission, observe the following precautions:

  • The antenna area should be kept away from metal objects.
  • Avoid placing the module inside products that are entirely wrapped in metal, as this can significantly degrade signal strength.

4.2. Aktualizace firmwaru
