3. Instalace

The SEAFLO Bilge Pump Control Switch is designed for simple and clean installation. Ensure all power is disconnected from the battery before beginning installation to prevent electrical shock.

3.2 kroky instalace

1. Vyberte místo montáže: Select a flat, accessible surface on your marine vessel or RV for mounting the switch panel. Ensure it is protected from direct water spray if not explicitly rated for submersion.
2. Cut Mounting Hole: Use the provided dimensions (refer to Figures 2, 3, or 4 for your specific model) to cut an appropriate opening for the switch panel.

   • Connect the negative (-) wire from the bilge pump and the float switch (if applicable) directly to the negative (-) terminal of your battery or a common ground point.

4.1 3-Position Switch (AUTO-OFF-MAN)

• AUTO (Automatic) Position: In this position, the bilge pump will operate automatically, activated by a connected float switch. When the water level rises and triggers the float switch, the pump will turn on. Once the water level drops and the float switch deactivates, the pump will turn off.
• Poloha OFF: This position completely deactivates the bilge pump. The pump will not run, regardless of the float switch position or manual input.
• MAN (Manual) Position: In this position, the bilge pump will run continuously, bypassing the float switch. Use this for manual dewatering or testing. Remember to switch back to AUTO or OFF when manual operation is no longer needed to prevent battery drain or pump damage.

4.2 2-Position Switch (OFF-ON)

• Poloha OFF: The bilge pump is completely deactivated.
• Pozice ON: The bilge pump will run continuously. This type of switch is typically used in conjunction with an external float switch and a separate manual override switch, or for simple manual operation.

  • Ensure the float switch is clean and free from debris that might impede its movement.
• Pump Runs Continuously in AUTO Position:
  • Check the float switch. It might be stuck in the "up" (activated) position due to debris or mechanical failure.
  • Inspect wiring for a short circuit that might be continuously activating the pump.
