1. Úvod

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Scimagic-RC SMG-240 Teleco remote control. This device is designed for controlling garage doors and gates, compatible with Teleco TXP-433-A01, TXP-433-A02, and TXP-433-A04 systems. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Disclaimer: Your existing remote must be identical to the one advertised for compatibility. This new remote is not compatible with other remote types.

3. Obsah balení

4. Nastavení a programování

The remote control must be programmed to your receiver. This process involves pairing the new remote with your existing garage door or gate opener system.

4.1. Programming with the Receiver (Recommended Method)

This method is generally used when you are adding a new remote to your system or if you have lost your original remote.

  1. Locate the Learn / Code Set button on the motor. This button is typically found under the lamp cover or on the back of the motor unit of your garage door or gate opener.
  2. Press the Learn / Code Set button once, then release it. A light on the receiver should illuminate, indicating it is in programming mode.
  3. Press the desired transmitter button on your new remote control once. The light on the receiver should go out.
  4. Press the same button on the new remote control again. The light on the motor will flash and then go out, signifying that the remote has been successfully coded.
  5. Test the operation of the remote. Ensure it activates your garage door or gate.

4.2. Programming with a Working Remote (Alternative Method)

This method can be used if you have an existing, working remote control and your receiver supports this type of programming. Refer to your receiver's manual for specific instructions if this method does not work.

  1. Press and hold the hidden button on your original remote. (You may need to remove the battery clip to access it). You should hear a long beep.
  2. Press the button on the original remote once. You will hear another long beep.
  3. Press button 1 on your new remote control. You will hear two short beeps.
  4. Press button 2 on your new remote control once. You will hear two more short beeps.

5. Provoz

Once programmed, your remote control is ready for use.

  1. Press the programmed button: Press the button on the remote control that you programmed to your garage door or gate opener.
  2. Observe the action: The garage door or gate should open or close.
  3. Rozsah: The effective operating range is typically 10-30 meters in open space. Environmental factors may affect this range.

6. Údržba

6.1. Výměna baterie

The remote control uses a CR2032 battery. The battery typically lasts 1-2 years, depending on usage frequency. Replace the battery when the remote's range decreases or it stops responding.

  1. Open the remote casing: Jemně vypáčte dálkový ovladač casing. Some models may have a small notch for this purpose.
  2. Vyjměte starou baterii: Opatrně vyjměte starou baterii CR2032 z jejího prostoru.
  3. Insert the new battery: Place a new CR2032 battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+ side up).
  4. Zavřete casing: Zacvakněte dálkové ovládání casinbezpečně sestavte zpět.

7. Řešení problémů

  • Vyměňte baterii.
  • Ensure there are no large metal objects or other strong radio signals interfering.
  • Try operating closer to the receiver.
Lost original remote, cannot program.Reliance on "programming with working remote" method.
  • Use the "Programming with the Receiver" method (Section 4.1). This method does not require an existing remote.
Remote is not compatible with my Teleco system.Incorrect model or frequency.
  • Verify your Teleco system model (e.g., TXP-433-A01/A02/A04).
  • Ensure your system operates on 433.92 MHz. This remote is NOT compatible with 868MHz systems (e.g., TVTXP 868MHz).

  • Direct programming: If you've lost your original remote, remember that this remote can be programmed directly to the receiver/motor, which is a significant advantage.
