4. Pokyny k nastavení

Follow these steps to set up your KuWFi 4G LTE Router USB Dongle:

1. Prepare the SIM Card: Ensure you have a Micro SIM card. The device supports Micro SIM cards only.

2. Vložte SIM kartu: Push the back cover of the dongle down to open the SIM card slot. Insert the Micro SIM card with the core (metal contacts) facing down into the designated slot.

3. Zapnutí zařízení: Plug the USB port of the dongle into a power source. This can be a USB wall charger, a power bank, a laptop, or a desktop computer. The device is Plug & Play, so no driver installation is needed.

4. Připojení k Wi-Fi: Once powered on, the dongle will broadcast a Wi-Fi network. On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks. The default SSID (Network Name) will be 4G UFI_**** (where **** are the last four digits of the device's IMEI). The default password is 1234567890. Connect to this network.

5. Přístup k Web Uživatelské rozhraní (Web UI): Otevřete a web prohlížeč (např. Chrome, Firefox) a zadejte 192.168.0.1 in the address bar. This will take you to the device's Web UI login page. The default username is admin a výchozí heslo je admin.

5. Návod k obsluze

5.1. Web UI Navigation

Po přihlášení do Web UI (192.168.0.1 with admin/admin), you will see the main dashboard. The left-hand menu provides access to various settings and information:

• Domov: Nadview of user information.
• Informace: Device details, statistics, data limit settings.
• Stáhnout ovladač: Option to download drivers if needed (though typically not required).
• SMS: Device SMS, SIM SMS, SMS settings, Phonebook.
• Nastavení: Network settings (Dial-up, Network Selection, APN), Wi-Fi settings, Device settings, Router settings, Update.

5.2. Modifying Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and Password

To change your Wi-Fi network name and password:

1. Přejděte na Settings > Wi-Fi Settings > Basic Settings.
2. Locate the 'Network Name (SSID)' field to change the Wi-Fi name.
3. Locate the 'Pass Phrase' field to change the Wi-Fi password. You can check 'Display Password' to see the current password.
4. Click 'Apply' to save your changes.

5.3. Konfigurace nastavení APN

If your device cannot connect to the internet, you may need to manually configure the APN (Access Point Name). This information is usually provided by your SIM card operator.

1. Přejděte na Nastavení > Nastavení sítě > APN.
2. Click 'Add New' to create a new APN profile.
3. Fill in the 'Profile Name', 'APN', 'mcc', 'mnc', 'Authentication', 'Connect mode', 'User Name', and 'Password' fields as provided by your SIM card operator.
4. Click 'Apply' to save the new APN settings.

5.4. Checking Data Usage

5.5. Výběr sítě

To optimize your network connection, you can set the preferred network type:

1. Přejděte na Settings > Network Settings > Network Selection.
2. Choose between 'Automatic' or 'Manual' network selection.
3. If 'Automatic', you can select the preferred network mode (e.g., 4G/3G/2G, 4G Only, 3G Only, 2G Only).
4. Click 'Apply' to save your changes.

6. Odstraňování problémů / FAQ

Q: Can this router work in my country?

A: Please check the frequency bands supported by the device (see Specifications section) against your local network operator's bands. You can use resources like frequencycheck.com or Wikipedia's List of LTE networks pro potvrzení kompatibility.

Q: The device does not recognize my SIM card.

A: First, ensure the SIM card is a Micro SIM and is inserted correctly with the core facing down. Try inserting the SIM card into the router for one minute, then power on the device. If the issue persists, try using another SIM card from a different operator to rule out SIM card specific issues.

Q: The 4G router cannot connect to the Internet normally.

A: For some regions (e.g., EU countries), you may need to disable the PIN code on your SIM card and manually configure the APN settings in the Web UI (see Section 5.3). Contact your SIM card operator for the correct APN information.

Q: The signal is unstable.

A: You can improve network stability by managing the settings page. Navigate to Settings > Network Settings > Network Selection and try locking the device to a specific network type (e.g., 4G Only or 3G Only) instead of 'Automatic'.

Q: What if the device still cannot connect to the network after correct settings?

A: Consider the following possibilities:

• Your account might be suspended due to excessive data usage.
• The SIM card might be an IoT card, which may have specific restrictions.
• The SIM card may have limited service or not be compatible with routers/hotspots.
