The MOES Tuya ZigBee Smart Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) is designed to provide intelligent control over your home heating system. This device allows for precise temperature management, programmable schedules, and remote control via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life mobile application. It also supports voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for hands-free operation. Please note that a Tuya ZigBee hub is required for the smart functionalities of this device and is not included in the package.

Specifikace

Nastavení

1. Stáhněte si aplikaci Smart Life APP

Scan the QR code below or search for "Smart Life" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download the application.

2. Instalace baterie

1. Press the battery compartment lock, remove the cover, and insert three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Ensure the polarity (+/-) is correctly aligned.
2. When "" and "" stop blinking, the mandrel pulls back, then "" is displayed and blinking on the screen.

3. Adapter and TRV Installation

1. Install the TRV union nut with M30*1.5 thread for the heating valve, and then tighten the nut.
2. If your valve type requires an adapter, select the appropriate adapter from the provided set (e.g., for Danfoss RA, RAV, RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini, or M28 valves) and install it correctly before attaching the TRV.
3. Press the middle button, and then "Ad" will start blinking. The device enters the valve-adjusting process. After several minutes, the process is completed when the initialized screen is displayed.

A Tuya ZigBee hub is required and is not included in the package.

1. Ensure your ZigBee gateway is powered on. Hold its button for 5 seconds until the red light blinks rapidly (or as per gateway instructions).
2. In the Smart Life APP, go to the Home page, click "+" in the upper right corner, and select "Gateway Control - Wireless Gateway (Zigbee)".
3. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Click "Next", confirm the indicator is blinking rapidly, and click "Next".
4. Wait for a moment until the gateway is found and initialized, then click "Done".

5. Add TRV Device to App

1. Under manual mode, rotate the knob counterclockwise until "" is displayed. Then long press the middle button for 3 seconds until "" is blinking.
2. In the gateway page within the Smart Life APP, click "Add subdevice".
3. Click "LED already blink", wait a moment until the icon of TRV appears, then click "Done".
4. Set the device name and click "Done" to finish. The device has been added successfully.

1. Zobrazit symboly

The TRV features an LED dot matrix display. Key symbols include:

• Auto: Automatický režim.
• Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi connection status.
• Slabá baterie: Indicates low battery.
• Topení: Indicates the valve is actively heating.
• Nastavení teploty: The target temperature.

2. Režimy regulace teploty

• Auto Mode: When "" is displayed, the TRV operates based on the programmed weekly schedule (four time periods per day).
• Ruční režim: When "" is not displayed, the TRV maintains the current setting temperature, ignoring the time period program.
• Dočasný režim: Under Auto mode, if you manually adjust the temperature, "" will blink, and the device will temporarily switch to Manual mode until the next scheduled time period.

3. Týdenní programování

You can set a customized temperature plan with up to 6 events per day, one week as a cycle.

1. In the Smart Life APP, click the "" icon to enter the Weekly programming page.
2. Set four time periods and their corresponding temperatures based on your customized needs.

4. Rotace obrazovky

Long press the Set Button for 3 seconds to switch the screen display direction, allowing for easier reading from different angles.

5. Funkce dětské pojistky

To prevent misoperations, especially by children, the TRV features a child lock.

• Aktivujte dětský zámek: Long press the middle button for 3 seconds until "LC" is displayed on the screen.
• Deaktivujte dětský zámek: While locked, long press the middle button for 3 seconds until "LC" disappears.

6. Otevřete okno Detekce

This function helps save energy by detecting open windows.

• First, enable the window detection function in the Smart Life APP settings.
• When the device detects a rapid temperature drop (more than 1.5°C within 4.5 minutes), indicating an open window, the function activates.
• The screen will display "OP", and the temperature will be set to 12°C.
• The function will terminate if the temperature rises by more than 1.5°C within 4.5 minutes, if there's no operation for 30 minutes, or if you manually adjust the temperature via the app or device.

7. Anti-scale Function

To protect the valve from calcification and prolong its lifespan, the TRV performs a routine decalcification.

• The TRV executes routine decalcification every Monday at 12:00.
• During decalcification, "CA" will be displayed on the screen.

8. Hlasové ovládání

Once connected to your ZigBee hub and integrated with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, you can control the TRV using voice commands. Ensure the device name in the app matches what you use in voice commands.

• Amazon Alexa commands (example):
  • "Alexa, set [DEVICENAME] to 26 degrees."
  • "Alexa, drop the [DEVICENAME] by 1 degree."
  • "Alexa, turn on the [DEVICENAME] child lock."
• Google Assistant commands (example):
  • "OK Google, set the [DEVICENAME] to 23 degrees."
  • "OK Google, raise the [DEVICENAME] by 1 degree."
  • "OK Google, turn off the [DEVICENAME] child lock."

Údržba

1. Výměna baterie

When the low battery symbol appears on the display, replace the batteries immediately with three new 1.5V AA alkaline batteries. Ensure correct polarity.

2. Valve Longevity

• Stopping Heating (Summer): In summer, rotate the knob clockwise until "07" is displayed under manual mode to stop heating. This fully opens the heating valve and can extend its service life.
• Pausing Heating (Winter): In winter, rotate the knob counterclockwise until "" is displayed under manual mode to temporarily pause heating. This closes the heating valve and activates frost protection.

3. Ochrana proti mrazu

The antifreeze function activates when the room temperature drops below 5°C, opening the valve. It closes when the temperature exceeds 7°C, preventing damage to the radiator thermostatic valve due to freezing.

To restore the device to factory settings, long press the middle button and insert the battery at the same time until "FA" is displayed on the screen and blinks for 3 seconds. The device will then restart. Note that all previous settings will be lost and cannot be recovered.

• Voice Control Device Naming: When setting up voice control, use simple and memorable names for your TRV (e.g., "Bedroom Thermostat") to ensure smooth interaction with Alexa or Google Assistant.
