4.1 Mechanical Structures and Connections

The S1-D dimmer features clearly labeled terminals for DMX input/output, AC power input, and two AC output channels. The digital display and setting keys are located on the front panel for easy access.

4.2 Schéma zapojení

Caution: Please ensure all wire connections and polarities are correct and secure before applying power. Incorrect wiring will damage the controller.

4.2.1 Connect with Dimmable LED Light

Connect the DMX master to the DMX input terminals (DMX+, DMX-, GND) of the S1-D dimmer. Connect the AC 100-240V power supply to the L and N input terminals. For the output, connect the dimmable LED light directly to the CH1 (L1, N1) or CH2 (L2, N2) output terminals. Ensure the LED light is compatible with phase-cut dimming.

4.2.2 Connect with Triac Dimmable LED Driver

Connect the DMX master to the DMX input terminals (DMX+, DMX-, GND) of the S1-D dimmer. Connect the AC 100-240V power supply to the L and N input terminals. For the output, connect the Triac dimmable LED driver to the CH1 (L1, N1) or CH2 (L2, N2) output terminals. Then, connect the LED light to the output of the Triac dimmable LED driver.

In addition, the maximum surge current of the dimmer is 60A, the sum of surge current of multiple dimmable LED drivers should not exceed 2 times. 5.1 System Parameter Setting

1. Long press the 'M' and 'K' keys simultaneously for 2 seconds to enter the system parameter setting mode.
2. Short press the 'M' key to cycle through parameters: Decode mode, Control method, Default output level, Minimum brightness curve, Minimum blank screen.
3. Short press the 'K' key to adjust the value of the selected item.
4. To exit, long press the 'M' key for 2 seconds or wait for a 10-second timeout.

5.1.1 Decode Mode

• Short press 'K' to switch between one-channel decode ("d-1") or two-channel decode ("d-2").
• In "d-1" mode, the decoder occupies 1 DMX address, and both channels output the same brightness.

5.1.3 Default Output Level

• Short press 'K' to change the default 0-100% level ("000" to "OFF") when no DMX input signal is present.

5.1.4 Minimální jas

• Short press 'K' to set the minimum brightness from 1% to 40% ("b01" to "b40"). This helps avoid flicker at low dimming levels.

5.1.5 Automatic Blank Screen

• Short press 'K' to enable ("bon") or disable ("boF") the automatic blank screen feature.

5.2 Režim DMX

• When the display shows "001-512", short press 'M' to enter DMX mode.
• Press 'K' to change the DMX decode start address (001-512). Long press 'K' for fast adjustment.
• The dimmer automatically enters DMX mode if a DMX signal is detected.
• Each S1-D DMX decoder occupies 2 DMX addresses. For example, if the DMX decoder start address is 1, the DMX Console Output mapping is: CH1: 01001, CH2: 01002.

5.3 Stand-alone Dimmer Mode

• When the display shows "1-1-8", short press 'M' to enter stand-alone dimmer mode.
• Short press 'K' to change the dimmer mode number (1-1-8).
• Each dimmer mode allows independent brightness customization for each channel.
• To set two channel brightness: Long press 'M' for 2 seconds, then short press 'M' to switch between 100-1FF and 200-2FF. Long press 'K' to set the brightness value.
• This mode is active only when the DMX signal is disconnected or lost.

5.4 Stand-alone Dynamic Mode

• When the display shows "P-1-P-4", short press 'M' to enter stand-alone dynamic mode.
• Short press 'K' to change the dynamic mode number (P-1-P-4).
• Each mode allows adjustment of speed and brightness.
• To set speed and brightness: Long press 'M' for 2 seconds, then short press 'M' to switch between speed (1-10 levels, S-F) and brightness (1-10 levels, b-F). Short press 'K' to set the value.
• This mode is active only when the DMX signal is disconnected or lost.

5.5 Obnovení továrních nastavení parametrů

• Long press the 'M' and 'K' keys simultaneously for 2 seconds to restore factory default parameters. The display will show "RES".
• Factory default settings: DMX decode mode, DMX decode start address is 1, two channel decode, reverse-phase control, 10% minimum brightness, dimmer mode number is 1, dynamic mode number is 1, output 100% level when no DMX input, and automatic blank screen is disabled.

• When using the RDM function, ensure your DMX master console supports RDM for seamless address configuration.
• If experiencing flicker at low brightness levels, adjust the 'Minimum brightness' setting to a higher value to stabilize the output.
• For optimal performance and longevity, ensure the dimmer is installed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.

8. Řešení problémů

• No output/Dimmer not responding: Check all wiring connections for security and correct polarity. Verify the power supply is active. Ensure the DMX signal is present if in DMX mode, or switch to stand-alone mode to test.
• Blikající světla: Adjust the 'Minimum brightness' setting. Ensure the connected load is compatible with phase-cut dimming. Check for loose connections.
• Přehřívání: The device has built-in over-heat protection and will recover automatically. Ensure proper ventilation and that the total load does not exceed the maximum specified power.
• Incorrect DMX address: Use the digital display and 'K' button to set the correct DMX start address, or use an RDM-compatible DMX master to configure.
• Neočekávané chování: Try restoring the dimmer to factory default settings (refer to section 5.5).
