The SMG-239 is a versatile multi-frequency remote control designed to clone existing fixed and rolling code remotes for various access control systems, including garage doors, gate doors, barriers, and sliding gates. Its 4-in-1 functionality allows it to control up to four different devices or brands simultaneously, operating across a wide frequency range from 280MHz to 868MHz.

5. Nastavení a programování (klonování)

The SMG-239 remote control requires face-to-face cloning from your original remote. The process differs slightly for fixed code and rolling code remotes.

5.1. Cloning Procedure

1. Vymazat existující kód: Press and hold the two top buttons (Button 1 and Button 2) on the SMG-239 simultaneously until the LED flashes rapidly (approximately 3 seconds). Release the buttons. This clears any pre-existing codes.
2. Dálkové ovladače pozic: Place your original remote control and the SMG-239 side-by-side, as close as possible.
3. Zahájit klonování: Press and hold a button on your original remote that you wish to clone. Simultaneously, press and hold the corresponding button on the SMG-239 where you want to store the code.
4. Sledujte LED: The LED on the SMG-239 will first flash slowly, then rapidly, indicating successful cloning.
5. Opakujte pro ostatní tlačítka: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for any other buttons you wish to clone.

5.2. Fixed Code vs. Rolling Code

• Fixed Code Remotes: After successfully cloning a fixed code remote, the SMG-239 will be ready for immediate use.
• Rolling Code Remotes: For rolling code remotes, after cloning, the SMG-239 will need to be programmed or activated directly on your receiver unit (e.g., garage door opener motor, gate control board). Refer to your receiver's manual for specific instructions on how to pair a new remote.

6. Provoz

Once successfully programmed, the SMG-239 operates identically to your original remote. Each of the four buttons can be assigned to control a different device or function:

7. Údržba

7.1. Výměna baterie

The SMG-239 uses a CR2032 3V battery. When the remote's range decreases or the LED indicator becomes dim, it's time to replace the battery.

1. Najděte přihrádku na baterie na zadní straně dálkového ovladače.
2. Carefully open the compartment using a small tool or your fingernail.
3. Vyjměte starou baterii CR2032.

7.2. Čištění

Dálkový ovladač otírejte měkkým, suchým hadříkem. Nepoužívejte agresivní chemikálie ani abrazivní čisticí prostředky.

8. Uživatelské tipy

• For optimal cloning results, ensure both the original remote and the SMG-239 have fresh batteries.
• When cloning, try different positions if the first attempt is unsuccessful (e.g., back-to-back, antenna-to-antenna).
• If you encounter issues with rolling code remotes, remember that an additional pairing step with your receiver is almost always required after cloning.
• Keep the remote control away from extreme temperatures and moisture.

9. Řešení problémů

• Vzdálené připojení se neklonuje: Ensure the SMG-239's code is cleared before attempting to clone. Make sure the original remote is transmitting a strong signal and is held very close to the SMG-239. Try replacing batteries in both remotes.
• Cloned but not working (Rolling Code): Remember to program/activate the SMG-239 with your receiver unit after cloning. This is a common step for rolling code systems.
• Krátký provozní dosah: Check the battery level of the SMG-239. Obstructions between the remote and the receiver can also reduce range.
