Check that the batteries in the sensor are fresh and correctly installed. Ensure the sensor is within the transmission range (typically up to 30–100 meters in open areas) and away from metal objects or thick walls that may block the signal.
Remove the batteries from both the main unit and the sensor. Wait for a few minutes to allow residual power to drain, then reinsert the batteries to restart the initialization process.
