For optimum performance, BRITA recommends changing the MAXTRA+ or MAXTRA PRO water filter every four weeks, or after approximately 100-150 liters of use depending on the specific filter model.
Most BRITA jugs and funnels are dishwasher safe up to 50°C. However, lids containing the BRITA Smart Light or BRITA Memo electronic indicators must not be washed in the dishwasher and should be cleaned by hand.
Immerse the new filter in cold water and shake it gently to remove air bubbles. Insert it into the funnel and discard the first two fillings of filtered water to activate the filtration material properly.
